ATCQ Dive 1/6
I’ve been in my tribe binge so what better way to revive my page but a discog dive. The potential for this album is weighted down by its forgettable tracks in the ending leg. ATCQ does however finds their theme of empowering feel good which is where their best songs on this come from on this album.
Can i kick it and push it along are obviously classics and i personally probably dont need to explain why, songs like art of moving butts honestly show that this sounds ... read more
---Quick after writing note that I really want to get off my chest: Mainstream artists in general really need to stop making large quantity album releases. I'm not saying every song has to be iconic since that's impossible, but a 20 song album should in no world be remembered by 3. releases this year like Kid Cudi and We Still Don't Trust You show a growing trend of pushing out longer track lists despite a very clear 'core' 3-5 songs.
In the age of quick consumable content a random ass song ... read more
The path that this album paved cannot be understated, another thing that cant be understated is how groovy and enjoyable this album is.
The initial 4 song run flat out might be one of the best ever, and although I think some of said enjoyability is slightly lost nearing the end, it more than makes up with the creativity as an overall package.
CONNIE gives a 24 minute lecture on why mixing is an underrated aspect in music
I heard this for the first time in February but was holding on to the review to see how I still feel on it.
This honestly just flat out is the first male vocalist in quite some time to legitimately leave me flabbergasted, I implore anyone who hasn't test the waters on this yet to listen to self titled track because this man has a surreal vocal range. The instrumentals on this album are also very overlooked in my mind, they aren't anything ground breaking but the riffs on Grace Mojo Pin and ... read more
Radiohead Discography Dive 9/9
God this is such an amazingly digestible album. When I think of heavily emotional albums I think of tough to get through and sonically challenging genres. A Moon Shaped Pool is honestly in terms of flat out production is the greatest Radiohead, the instrumentation alone gives goosebumps and its in stellar quality and originality. Ful Stop give such a feeling of uneasy of purgatory, and songs like burn the witch are mind-blowing with their strings.

Good song, one of his best flows in a while but man does this feel bloated especially with topics he already said on push ups
Beyond insanely impressive that a group can lose such a core member and not for a second drop in quality
Radiohead Discography Dive 8/9
A strange album, that is undeniable. The King of Limbs is Radiohead flipping the script from their last project. A glitchy dark sound fills this album and I honestly like the atmosphere that it provides, it just flat out is not executed as well as it could've been. Songs like Morning Mr. Magpie are really cool sounding in concept but its as if something important is missing to take it the extra typical radiohead mile.
It feels as though there is an identical ... read more

30 --->20 The line of him saying he's Canadian with an American flag in the forefront has me legit gut laughing
I will return eventually, for now I leave you with an album I see as criminally underrated. American Love Call, is such an unbelievable consistent vibe its almost therapeutic. It is a tad derivative of the Smooth Soul genre but that is all thrown out the window when it is preformed at such a great form.
Court Of Love, Long Way Home, and Sea Gets Hotter are my highlights, and I can't for the life of me find something to hate about this album. This is most likely going to be my permanent study ... read more
Guys can we be so fr right now, this is maybe the least egregious song for a rating like this. Like take this girls name away from this song and you have such a by the books song that it's only flaw is being boring and the chorus sucking.
This song is killed by the hook but like, the bridge and verses are fine. This song is being bombed because of the artist being an annoying personality and this song in specific being far over-marketed. It's a song that... exists, it doesn't make me in need ... read more
I am reviewing this as someone with next to no nostalgia for this game. Mix that with the fact I find songs/reviews crutching on specified nostalgia disingenuous and a serious ick (BH's The Family), It is close to no surprise I find this at the very least slightly overrated.
I am willing to take these songs at face value however and for that I see an honestly well composed ambient soundtrack. Songs like Door and Oxygene sound amazing and help see the love people have for this soundtrack. Then ... read more
