I decided to listen to this due to the many mixed- primarily negative- reviews I had read about this album, and see if it lived up to that. I've been listening to Coldplay for years and hoped they finally began to make a solid LP, a long-waited 8 albums later. Safe to say, I was left disappointed because of what it could've been. I really wanted to like this, but it just left me feeling slightly disappointed.
God I’m so glad they’re back, this track just sounds incredible- I can’t wait to see what the rest of the album consists of
I was genuinely surprised with how decent this turned out to be- I was expecting something similar to the last three songs but this one is definitely a standout for the right reasons, this time. Although you can literally hear his voice straining which is slightly off-putting lol
