This album really is something else. Having listened to this duo since their first album, it's been amazing to watch them grow and expand their sound into what it came to be for this record. The production here is nearly unrecognizable compared to Punk Tactics, and now they're also showing a lot more emotion in their music, every song fluctuating between club hits and ... read more
I was enjoying this album until I remembered it was made by the FR*NCH...
Thank you all so much for 50 followers! I never thought my dumb little paragraphs of text I was putting out on the web would get any sort of traction. Thank you for reading my thought vomit vaguely disguised as album reviews, you people really are the best <3
There's something I realized across my somewhat limited time as a music nerd, that being the many different ways an artist could truly master their art in ... read more
Never knew a guy with a trumpet could be so mad.
Since I'm listening to a lot of music today, I thought I'd branch out genres and eventually landed on ska punk. I picked out this album because i heard one of it's songs in a rhythm game was, and I think that's the best choice I made tonight.
As a complete newbie to punk music, sitting through this album was a lot, and I mean that in the best way possible. The juxtaposition between the upbeat and lively instrumental with a ... read more
Metaphorical Music? How am I supposed to listen to it then?
Listening to this album since I've already listened to Modal Soul, and oh my god is the quality still there. Nujabes truly was in a league of his own.
Let's talk about the elephant in the room, composition. This album blends jazz and hip-hop in a really unique way, combining the layered intricacy of the former and the hard-hitting drums and structure of the latter. It's a very relaxing and entrancing experience to go ... read more
This album is definitely a mixed bag.
My first full exposition to a J.I.D project, and I'm not really sure what to say about it. This album is absolutely phenomenal at throughout most of the project, I really cannot stress this enough, this was some of the best rap I've ever heard. J.I.D snapped on every single song, his flow and lyricism were amazing in every single aspect, and most of the features did an equally great job and lifted up the songs even higher than they already were. ... read more
She jerk on my chicken til im wise [EXTREMELY LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER]
Something hit me and i suddenly had this urge to listen to smaller artists as a way to expand my tastes a little further, so i just went to the new realeases tab and picked out the albums with the coolest covers. Honestly, I got more than i was expecting here.
I will admit, i had no prior exposition exposition to jerk in the slightest, so this project was my introduction to the genre, and it unfortunately didn't stick ... read more

Finally listened to an album in my native tongue, what the actual fuck. This album is just phenomenal from start to en, the first half of this album is some of the best music I've heard in my life.
I've been listening to some very rushed and energetic albums recently, but this album is the exact opposite. It's thoughtful, it's breathing, it gives you time to think. The structure of all the songs here are also unlike anything I've ever heard, the ... read more
Review number 999 on this album, that's kinda cool
Going deeper into the various genres of rock, decided to try J-Rock with this neat little EP, this is also the first non-english album I listened to! :D
This project honestly turned out way better than I expected when i listened to the first track (don't get me wrong, delusionalism is a great song, but not really my type of music). This EP definitely gets a lot better in the second half, γ¨γ³γγγΌγ« and I F A SURFER are ... read more

Once again, expanding my music taste. I am the expander man. My expanding is immaculate. I decided to listen to my weird ass friend that draws hentai in class and listened to this album, goddamn does he have good taste.
First off, this album leans heavily to the left ideologically, touching on themes like the use of prisons to justify warcrimes and having a song thats straight up about a cult leader, so you know damn well this is gonna be a ... read more

Since I'm trying to branch out into new genres of music, I decided to give synthpop a try. Given that this was the only synthpop album that i really knew of, it was a clear choice that I diving into Tame Impala's discography for the first time, and it did not disappoint at all.
I will say beforehand that I already listened to a few songs off of this album beforehand, I mean, who hasn't? But I basically ... read more
Minecraft has been an integral part of my life for as long as i remember. As a kid growing up on the internet, I used to dedicate my entire life around this game, whether it's playing split screen with my little brother, in awe of how fast you could go on a riptide trident, or watching my favorite youtubers have the time of their lives playing it. Names like DanTDM, PopularMMOS, and so many more are ingrained into my mind as if i have known them personally, watching them test the newest ... read more

This EP is just sooo good, it feels like shoegaze is just a cheat code for good music, but it does work really fucking well. Shteppi's voice is incredibly emotional and fits every song perfectly, and her use of autotune on nightcoringearly2000ssongsthatmakemethinkofyou. just manages to amplify her talent tenfold. Even the cover for this project is great, my only gripe is that it's a bit too short and reassurance. just kinda ends abruptly. ... read more
Thank you to @Iriz for recommending me this!
I honestly don't know how to describe this album, or really how to rate it. It's a really nice collection of dreamy and atmospheric music to just chill to, and it's especially impressive considering it was made in 2012 (or 2009 according to spotify??). I don;t listen to a lot of experimental music, so i can't really commentate on this project, but just know that it was good.

This album is so good man, you can tell these guys were just having the time of their lives making this album. This album can't really be fit into just one genre of music, I was shaking ass at THE BADDEST and now I'm just chilling at OMNITRIX. I'll admit that the intro did feel a bit weak with BUSSIT, but it only ever got better. I won't try to get too critical here, this project is just mindless fun and a great listen for practically ... read more
Section.80 is Kendrick Lamar's debut album, with a heavy focus jazz instrumentation, seen highlighted on the tracks Ab-Soul's Outro, produced by Terrace Martins, and Rigamortus. This album touches on a lot of themes, all relating to street life in Compton, such as Ronald Reagan ruining black people's lives with crack (Ronald Reagan Era), drug abuse (A.D.H.D), prostitution and rape (Keisha's Song), and religion (Kush & Corinthians).
The album has some recurring themes ... read more
Getting back into the rhythm of listening to music... again. What better way to do that than with a miracle album?
Now, i will say that i don't have much listening experience with Panchiko or indie rock itself as a whole, the only albums i can think of that are even somewhat similar to this are BJ International's Falling Into Saturn and Radiohead's In Rainbows, but even those aren't really comparable. When i was browsing shoegaze music to listen to, i suddenly remembered ... read more
Every jigsaw fell in place for this album
This album takes on some pretty heavy themes, centered around existence, death, logning, and seduction; all over the most beautiful strings you'll ever hear. Every song in here creates a dynamic with Thom Yorke's melancholic and almost haunting vocals where it either stands out above everything else or amplifies the feeling and tension of the instrumental.
This album tells a story in fragments, with 15 Step starting off with themes of ... read more
First ever recommendation from another person! Thank you to @MontyRose <3
I've never really heard a shoegaze album before, so i didn't know what to expect here, but i still enjoyed it! This project does kinda go all over the place, but it manages to maintain a decent quality all throughout. The production and lyrics are nothing to really write home about though, and i do think some songs feel like they drag, especially Fight or Flight.
Even though I wouldn't call this album a ... read more
Atrocity Exhibition but for people who don't touch grass... oh wait.
All jokes aside, this album is just straight-up haunting. Along the whole duration of this project, Devon talks about his drug addiction, porn addiction, longing for intimacy, and suicidal ideation, with everything coming together in the final song, where we hear a gunshot marking the end of the album, implying that this album could've been Devon's suicide note. Every song in here is masterfully produced, but ... read more
This album cover goes so hard tho actually (Black Kray Mixtape Dive 2/24)
My introduction to emo rap, and holy shit this goes crazy. The vocals in every song are beatifully flawed and give the whole album a raw and authentic feeling, that only gets amplified by the slow and gothic beats. The lyrics aren't really the best, as it isn't really the focus of the album, but they still provide a complete and phenomenal listening experience. I highly recommend this album, please listen to it ... read more
