Would be So good if every song weren't a carbon copy of the last...
Imagine how many records this would have sold if it were a Beatles album
Its really mid Allman Brothers with Clapton on vocals...
An album with two awesome songs about castles??? SIGN ME UP!
This is the best of Dickey and Duane in its rawest form. Jammy and Epic.
Hoochie coochie man was a nice surprise off an album I did not expect much from.
The fact that this is a mid score for Pink Floyd should say something
I guess this awesome bands best album just has to be a 100. Going to California stood out to me on this listen. The solo in stairway is one of the best solos of all time and that still might be underrating it. The riffs in the opening and closing tracks are innovative, epic, and just overall perfect. Misty mountain hop makes this my least favorite of my 100s but it definitely deserves it
This band NEEDED Clapton like Biden needs to stay awake during debates.
Boring album carried by three sick songs (Sunshine Superman, Berts Blues, and Season of the Witch). the earliest "electric guitar" album I can enjoy... I think...
Well. The drastic difference from Help! to this to Abbey Road can only be explained by one thing. Drugs. Anyways I always thought they were overrated and I have now been enlightened...
It was the best rock album to ever come out when it came out. Aside from "run run run" the first 7 songs are bitchin'. I wouldn't be mad if I died to heroin. THE SONG. Laid groundwork for hundreds of famous albums. If Jeff Tweedy is one of the biggest alt rock influences of the 2000s, Lou Reed is alt rock Jesus.
Still haven't made it through "Mountain Jam (Theme From “First There Is A Mountain”) (Live At The Fillmore East, March 12 & 13, 1971)".
Saw a glimpse of a non boy band cookie cutter bullshit version of the Beatles in yesterday. They followed that up with a non cookie cutter album. Still mid as fuck.
