The Angels and demons EP is just filled with generic trap music that isn’t exemplary or good win any way. The sound could be a little catchy to some, but for me this was a super boring 17 minutes.
Trippie Redd’s 5th love letter takes a similar style to the 4th love letter in where the beginning is heartbroken music and towards the end it turns slowly into rap and drill. This album doesn’t really have that many good moments except for the outro track and take my breath away, which are the only good songs on this mixtape. The rest of the love letter is just a bloated mess.
For a good 5 minutes I thought this album would be a nice comeback because I love the trap direction Trippie Redd went into, but this album fell off so hard. The album slowly degenerates, and after knightcrawler, it doesn’t really get to anything too good. The only part about this album that I love is the production, this production is amazing, but keep Trippie away from this because he failed miserably with this potential. At the point in the track list of swag like Ohio pt. 2 I gave up ... read more
Trippie Redd’s Trip At Knight is one of the best comeback albums I have ever heard. The production is amazing and the experimenting definitely payed off as he comes with a beautiful synth sound, and this album, unlike the previous album, all the features are great. Moreover, the track list is very consistent with no skips, although it does feel bloated at some times, so that why there is still room for improvement.
Pegasus is one of most laughable albums I have ever heard. The lyrics are so bad and the song weeeee has probable got to be one of the worst songs I have ever heard. The production is boring and the features are also not good. This album with its long ass run time of over an hour has only 3 good songs compared to the ratio of like 90% torture for the rest of the album.
I had high expectations for Trippie Redd’s 4th love letter, and I was a little disappointed because I came in with the heuristic that it would be more aggressive and heavier with stronger production because of the two songs I have been listening to for a while off this album, but the first part of the album was just heartbroken music, however, towards the end of the album, it has that sound I was expecting. If the first part of this mixtape wasn’t so bad, it would be so amazing.
! Is Trippie Redd’s worst project out so far; it is filled with so many boring songs and there are only two goods songs. Trippie sounds so boring and uninteresting and the production is mediocre at best.
Trippie Redd’s third love letter consists of even more boring production than his debut album and his previous 2 love letters. There isn’t much special about this mixtape, except for Topanga, which is the only great track on this mixtape.
Trippie Redd’s first studio album isn’t a step up from his previous works. The production in this album is mediocre and the lyrics are uninteresting and boring throughout for most of the album. This album is extremely bloated and carried by the couple of great songs on here.
Trippie’s second love letter is more consistent overall with the track list, having less bloating compared to his first love letter, but the production is weaker and there is less bangers. Overall this mixtape beats out the first love letter by a tiny margin.
Trippie Redd’s first love letter isnt that bad musically wise, but the main issue I have with the mixtape is that it extremely bloated with tracks that are very boring after the same sounding track for the 5th. This mixtape was still very crucial for Trippie as it has some bangers like poles 1469 and Love Scars, which are timeless songs, and Poles 1469 is completly carried by my beloved producer Pierre Bourne.
As my 800th album, I’ve decided to listened to the final album I have remaining which is their latest album out rn for one of my close friends’ favorite band. This album has a very upbeat and happy sound, which gets contrasted at the introspective interlude towards the end of the album. The interlude is an instrumental with a soothing and melodic sound, while the rest of the album is the Japanese shoegaze sound that made up the band; which this time they experimented with a very ... read more
Tears and Pistols is Dro Kenji’s debut project which takes a lot of inspiration from artists like Juice World, and he made an alright project that doesn’t bring anything unique to the genre. The album isnt really boring as it is very compact and less than 30 minutes, so before you know it, the album is already over. What Dro does best is through his unique voice and amazing flows. He has some of the best flows I’ve ever heard, but it’s not completly expressed in this ... read more
This shoegaze album was amazing in the ways they experimentation with the production and also the thrash metal elements in the album. The aggressive thrash mixed with the calming shoegaze dreamy sound provides a beautiful contrast and juxtaposition. It’s what makes this album stands out from the rest of the typical shoegaze genre.
Let’s start here was lil yachty’s main experimental album, with a change from hip-hop to psychedelic rock. This album was very introspective and dove into aspects of self worth as lil yachty tried to find himself. Every feature on this album was great; their vocals were soothing, but my into issue with this album is that i hate lil yaghty’s vocals on this album. He just doesn’t have a good singing voice, but the production was amazing, and if I get used to his voice ... read more
Megadeth’s debut feels like a mixtape more than anything if the metal genre utilized mixtapes. This album is kinda compact and kinda mediocre. There isn’t really much extraordinary about this album, or anything genre defining, it is just a normal thrash metal album that doesn’t sound bad.
Peace sells is a step up from their debut but there isn’t much that was improved. This album actually has a couple of good songs, but the production is still a bit messy and the entire album is uninteresting somewhat.
LP! Offline is a heavily experimental hip hop project that I don’t like that much. It is often praised for its creativity, but it just doesn’t click for me. It is undeniable amazing in some areas, but I just don’t mess with the production that much. I might have to re listen to it a couple more times to understand it.
Jpegmafia’s 2026 album was genuinely one of the most insufferable listens I’ve ever had. I didn’t listen to the leading singles beforehand, so I came in blind and I was very disappointed with what I heard. This album feels like it has no cohesion and it sounds like aggressive industrial noise. Moreover, Peggy’s lyrics are just so uninspired, it’s like he ran out of things to say, especially for the track 1st amendment. The only good part of this album were the ... read more
One of my biggest hot takes is that I think vultures 1 isnt as bad as people say it is. It does have some pretty bad lows, but overall as an album it has some good songs and the ratio to good to bad songs is pretty good. The cover is still awful and worst cover I’ve seen.
