I'm kinda disappointed with how this turned out. I enjoyed a lot of Bladee's other projects after going on a second dive of his material and this one excited me the most with how it's touted as one of his best, but at most this mixtape is good at certain moments or just serviceable at some. And yet it's still a solid project from him, not one song is bad. Just not much here that stands out as real highlights aside from the popular songs on this album. It's good albeit slightly flat

What going through the degen metalcore pipeline does to a member of society (it turns them into werewolves)
It starts a little slow in the first half but I think it makes the more pronounced moments in the second half more engaging and more impactful. Because those moments get to shine really well because of the build between the tracks, trading off for a mostly enjoyable first half into a emotionally affecting second half that reaches into a really good ethereal experience. Approved for another visit. This is a great album, a really great folk punk record with a good blending of midwest emo to boot
Looking back on it, this emo discovery phase didn't pan out very wellπ
