Grief can sometimes create beauty. And that is very obvious in this abstract hip-hop album, that is the best project I've seen in 2026 so far. By Storm seems to expand on their former experimental style, with certain songs sometimes exploding into a rage of production, as seen on tracks like And I Dance, and Zig Zag. This was an amazing, emotional album that truly blew me away. This is definetely going in my record collection.
Vince goes a bit more hip hop centric, expanding on what he experimented with on his Eponymous album the year before, however It feels a bit empty at points.
Really great album, however this was super long. Still though, an amazing boom bap album even though I can't understand a word they're saying.
I love your music Al but I am not spending $30 for a 1:20 instrumental album with a side from someone I’ve never heard of, and only one feature from an artist I’ve heard of (Navy Blue).
Nujabes never disappoints, and with the addition of Shing02’s flawless rapping and storytelling, this posthumous compilation comes together nicely.
it’s like the flow of Deltron 3030 combined with the production of Nujabes and something else between Racionais MC’s and Madlib.
I was the only person bobbing my head in the entire room :(
While this is one of the most philosophical, introspective albums I've heard, it also just kinda feels like a more boring version of Tribe. Idk, maybe that means I don't listen to enough old school but who knows.
I love Nujabes so much man. Here, his style seems slightly more advanced. I wish he could’ve lived longer, because he was such a legend. RIP 🕊️
