Dry Cleaning - Sweet Princess
89

I hope they make as much music as physically possible

Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg
81

Fucking brilliant I love it

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
90

I keep listening to it and it keeps morphing into ever more sad and beautiful things. Was wanting more of the chaos from there first album but I got this instead and I’m not complaining.

Wet Leg - Wet Leg
81

Just a delight lyrically. Musically very bouncy and fun. Still getting my head round a few of the tracks but I think I’ll be listening to this for a while to come.

The Beatles - Abbey Road
95

Does anyone truly not like this album?

Viagra Boys - Welfare Jazz
92

LOVE IT. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS AND WHERE DO I GET MORE.

Smirk - EP
86

I think this is brilliant and the guy’s onto something. Precious dreams and so original were highlights for me.

Donovan - Barabajagal
60

Ah man, idk about this one. Got no problem with the title track and happiness runs is genuinely one of my favourite Donovan songs but the rest of it is mediocre at best. I feel like Trudi is a bit of Bo Diddley rip off and who the hell decides to release a song like “I love my shirt.”

Donovan - Mellow Yellow
82

Breezy, jazzy, effortless unique Donovan sound.

Donovan - The Hurdy Gurdy Man
73

I absolutely fucking love this record.

Donovan - Fairytale
80

Very underrated/under-appreciated album. I prefer it to the what’s been hid stuff. Don’t really get the Dylan comparisons at this stage in his career. What they both sang with a guitar? I love both of them, but the content of the music is worlds apart.

Donovan - Beat Cafe
72

Was attacked by this album on acid. I can’t separate it from that experience but I actually think its a surprisingly brilliant effort at this stage in his career. Especially considering some of the later output in the 70s/80s.

Paul Simon - Graceland
100

There’s a certain texture and feeling to this record that is simply indescribable and nothing else will quench the thirst when it comes for me.

Tom Waits - Swordfishtrombones
82

The start of something incredible.

Tom Waits - Alice
89

NO WE CAN”T BE LAATE

The Doors - Waiting for the Sun
89

Honestly I forget how good this one is until I hear it again. Love street is a very strangely hypnotic for me.

The Doors - Morrison Hotel
88

If this album was just half an hour of the riff from Roadhouse blues I would not mind AT all. But it’s actually filled with even more relentless dark blues energy.

The Doors - L.A. Woman
92

The vocals on here get me riled up like a cat in a bag.

The Doors - Strange Days
91

Even better than the debut, dare I say it??
