Pleasantly surprised

Just not getting the hype on these Nas albums at all. The production sounds like the type of stuff you could buy for 1.99 in 2005 to make your own rap song

The production is immaculate and the lyrics (I’m sure, but haven’t dug in yet) are great.

But still the melodies are not particularly memorable. Maybe it’ll grow on me but not quite there yet

Got like 5 songs in. Figured I got the gist

Nah a bit disappointing after his last few, even if his rapping is still solid

So sexy so smooth

Some good moments, but broadly I think somewhat forgettable

His best since heart like a levee

Just writing this to say this needs to be on people’s radar. Will give a real review at some point

Update: so yeah, I’m loving this one. It’s so richly produced. Each song has a remarkable amount of depth and texture. Highly recommend

I listened twice in the last few days and legit don’t remember anything about it

I liked this more than I expected. Her voice is obviously really good, but she coupled it well here. Talk too much is a bop whether we want to admit it or not

This was my first real Hozier experience other than that one song and color me impressed. What a powerful voice

If Sharon Van Etten made a mediocre dance pop record. A couple of standouts, but mostly forgettable

Don’t think this quite matches the debut. It’s got some zany and groovy moments, but a lot of it lends itself to sort of bland vocals

I need something new from him. I feel like I’ve heard this album like 5 times already

Didn't wow me (after the first song) but I think there's enough here that i'll look forward to future releases
