Quadeca's growth is simply incredible. He went from releasing an meh rap album to a full blown musical experience. That being said, he'll have to stop doing victory laps for me to respect him. That's unsportsmanlike.
This just feels like a worse version of twenty one pilots. Or a better version of Oliver Tree. Either way, it's not much of a compliment. I saw a lot of people on TikTok claiming that Jon Bellion was a genius and blah-blah. I've never heard something so far from reality. Everything here seems like it's a miss, somehow. The ideas aren't bad, but the execution is terrible.
Well, this was somehow a near-perfect match. Their voices compliment each other very well. Short and sweet album, but a very good one.
My expectations for this record were super low, so I wasn't disappointed. The thing is, I wasn't impressed either. It's just another kinda mid uninspired R&B project.
I heard The Strokes had a few great albums and a few terrible albums. This is supposed to be a great album, I think, but it's more like... uhh... decent rock, I guess.
Listening to this just feels good. It's not the most innovative folk album out there, but there's a lot to like on this record. Big surprise on my end.
Frank easily gets a good score cause everything kinda starts at 80. It's my least favorite record of his, but it's still a freaking great piece of work. And now I know how to build stairs!
This is the most fun I've had listening to a Migos-related album in a while, and one of my personnal favorite trap album in the past few years. RIP Takeoff, you deserved better.
Ok let me explain. I'm not giving Biggie more than that because I don't know how much I would relisten to the entire thing from front to back. Still, it's one of the most important album in Hip Hop history, there's a lot of amazing songs on here. That I won't say otherwise.
Also, didn't need to hear Biggie fooling around and getting that bj...
I don't know if it's supposed to be Oasis' best album, but it definitely has their biggest hits. This album's importance on music is undeniable.
The singles leading up to this album were pretty nice, so I was expecting something great, and that's what I got. This is immensely underrated and very overlooked in the talks for hip hop aoty.
That has to be one of my biggest surprise of the year. I knew Jean Dawson, but never really got into his music, but damn this record is good.
I mean, I can't understand much of their lyrics, but it sounds great. It's very easy to listen to as well, it's dream pop at its best.
Their best songs are classic bangers, but like half of this album is barely listenable. Some of these tracks are hella annoying (lookin at you Unlock The Swag).
