A$AP Rocky - LONG.LIVE.A$AP
76

Ok honestly I listened to this like in Janurary and gave it a 76, but I don't remember why it was that low. In my head, it was higher but I guess I'll have to relisten to it.

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
87

I gotta admit that I didn't fully understand everything that was going on in this album. That being said, there was a good bunch of it that sounded nice.

Beach House - Bloom
92

It's such a shame that there's the 6 minutes silence in Irene, because the two parts of that song are freaking amazing. Apart from that, it's a beautiful album. It's a dream pop classic.

Dr. Dre - 2001
86

It's over twenty years old, and it could've aged very poorly, but it didn't. The production sounds timeless and the rapping, while not very actual, is still very nice.

Sudan Archives - Natural Brown Prom Queen
80

I like the idea that Brittney was going for on this record, but it lacks the little something that would make this album something special. I'm losing interest midway through the tracklist. It's still a fun record, though.

MGMT - Congratulations
89

I don't know wether I like this or Oracular Spectacular better, but what I will say is that they are both very good, but in very different fashion. I love MGMT, their sound is great.

Ab-Soul - Herbert
78

While it's not the best thing I've heard all year, there's still a few very good tracks. The issue is that it's a few tracks among almost 20 tracks.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
88

This is a legendary record. Led Zeppelin remains a very important piece in rock music's history, and this album is at the center of their legacy.

Beyoncé - Lemonade
93

This is the only album apart from Renaissance that I've heard from Beyoncé. And to be fair, I think this is much better than Renaissance. It's just bangers after bangers.

Little Simz - NO THANK YOU
91

Little Simz simply doesn't miss. This is one of the best hip hop albums of the year, and while it may not be as good as SIMBI, there's still a lot to like.

Elliott Smith - Elliott Smith
90

As I discover new music daily, I end up liking indie music more and more. When you realise how much impact Elliott Smith has had over this genre, I genuinly end up with a whole lot of respect for him and his craft. And this album deserves every bit of respect I'm giving it. It's such a good album.

BROCKHAMPTON - ROADRUNNER: NEW LIGHT, NEW MACHINE
86

I think this might be my favorite Brockhampton album. The features fit really well with the genre of the band. There's nothing particularly exceptionnal about this record, but it's definitely an all-around well made album.

Pink Floyd - Animals
92

This album is quite an adventure. While I don't think it's better than their previous two, it's one of the best prog albums of all time for sure. This is a unique piece of work.

SZA - SOS
82

The album is good, but it's too damn long. 23 tracks is too much, but there a some really solid stretches on the record. Unpopular opinion: I think it's better than Ctrl.

Kacy Hill - Simple, Sweet, and Smiling
82

I think the title of this album is perfect: it's a very sweet album in its simplicity. It's very short, but it's very much filled with good songwriting. Her voice can deliver some beautiful notes as well.

Phony Ppl - Euphonyus
77

I loved mo-za-ik, but this just doesn't hit the same. I don't know if it's just that it's getting redundant, but there's a little difference that I can't pinpoint between this one and their previous releases.

Alvvays - Blue Rev
84

You know, in this genre, it's one of the best albums I've heard all year. I'm slowly learning about shoegaze and understanding that it is a great genre. I'll have to look Alvvays' discography at some point.

Sigur Rós - Ágætis byrjun
98

This is a thing of beauty. I wish I could understand something, because it would add a layer of prettiness to an already gorgeous album. Some of the songs on here make me cry goddamit...

BROCKHAMPTON - ALL-AMERICAN TRASH
74

I mean yeah, this isn't great. It does sound like it's very early Brockhampton, but here and there there's flashes of what makes this band so good. It's very very raw.

Michael Kiwanuka - Home Again
95

Michael Kiwanuka is a beast. I love his sound. This shit is scary good.
