Ok honestly I listened to this like in Janurary and gave it a 76, but I don't remember why it was that low. In my head, it was higher but I guess I'll have to relisten to it.
I gotta admit that I didn't fully understand everything that was going on in this album. That being said, there was a good bunch of it that sounded nice.
It's such a shame that there's the 6 minutes silence in Irene, because the two parts of that song are freaking amazing. Apart from that, it's a beautiful album. It's a dream pop classic.
I like the idea that Brittney was going for on this record, but it lacks the little something that would make this album something special. I'm losing interest midway through the tracklist. It's still a fun record, though.
I don't know wether I like this or Oracular Spectacular better, but what I will say is that they are both very good, but in very different fashion. I love MGMT, their sound is great.
This is a legendary record. Led Zeppelin remains a very important piece in rock music's history, and this album is at the center of their legacy.
Little Simz simply doesn't miss. This is one of the best hip hop albums of the year, and while it may not be as good as SIMBI, there's still a lot to like.
As I discover new music daily, I end up liking indie music more and more. When you realise how much impact Elliott Smith has had over this genre, I genuinly end up with a whole lot of respect for him and his craft. And this album deserves every bit of respect I'm giving it. It's such a good album.
I think this might be my favorite Brockhampton album. The features fit really well with the genre of the band. There's nothing particularly exceptionnal about this record, but it's definitely an all-around well made album.
This album is quite an adventure. While I don't think it's better than their previous two, it's one of the best prog albums of all time for sure. This is a unique piece of work.
I think the title of this album is perfect: it's a very sweet album in its simplicity. It's very short, but it's very much filled with good songwriting. Her voice can deliver some beautiful notes as well.
This is a thing of beauty. I wish I could understand something, because it would add a layer of prettiness to an already gorgeous album. Some of the songs on here make me cry goddamit...
I mean yeah, this isn't great. It does sound like it's very early Brockhampton, but here and there there's flashes of what makes this band so good. It's very very raw.
