Wyatt James - Fuck Eating On The Weekend
23

''gIvE mY AlbUm A cHaNCe, i'M aCTuAlLy ProUd oF iT''. I never planned on listening to this ever, but if he says that this is better than WUNNA, now I need to hear it for myself.

I've got nothing against Wyatt. He seems like a good dude, and while I'm tired of seeing his face on my FYP, I gotta stop watching his delusional videos if I want him off. Music wise, however, he sucks.

Right off the gate, I have to say that this might be the worst rapping I've ever heard. Like ever. Rapping off-beat ... read more

Skrillex - Quest For Fire
76

I'm not gonna lie EDM isn't my cup of tea. I don't know much about it, but I'm trying to get to understand it better.

When I first heard that album, I wasn't amazed with it. I didn't plan on relistening to it ever again. One of my friends is a huge EDM fan, and he showed me his Spotify stats for the previous 30 days. Filled with songs from this album. I decided to give this record another shot, and I'm glad I did.

While I'm still not that much into the genre, I feel like there's a few tracks ... read more

Sam Smith - Gloria
32

Sam Smith the type of person to waste an Ed Sheeran feature on a useless fucking boring-ass song that is litterally at the end of the tracklist.

I never enjoyed Sam Smith's music and somehow I think this is the worst music I've ever heard coming from them. There's a big majority of songs in this album that I would automatically skip in a random playlist.

Now here's an unoriginal statement, but that I think needs to be said even more: Unholy might be the worst song of all time. It's ... read more

Lil Pump - Lil Pump 2
47

Here's the situation: Lil Pump is past his prime, if you consider that he ever had a prime. It feels like every song in this album is a desperate attempt at finding a new sound that fits him. Unfortunately, nothing is really working lol.

While listening through this, I was amazed at how many different genres of rap were exploited in a relatively short amount of time (not even 40 minutes). Add to this the very unsuccessful attempt at rock(ish)/metal(ish) and it builds a very bad resumé ... read more

Gorillaz - Cracker Island
70

I don't like the new way of releasing albums. They released litteraly half of the LP as singles and this left us with 5 new tracks. At this point, call it an EP and we're done here (I know there's a deluxe album, but that's a concept that I hate even more, just drop the whole damn thing jesus). That being said, I wasn't the biggest fan of most of the singles that dropped. Cracker Island and New Gold were kind of annoying to me and I forgot that Baby Queen actually existed. Silent Running and ... read more

slowthai - UGLY
94

This was so unexpected. Wth is going on in 2023 so far...

I've never been the biggest fan of slowthai. Only ever listened to TYRON a few times, but that's about it. Enjoyed his music a bit, but didn't blow me away. And then he releases this. You know, I'm travelling right now, I'm not at home and I don't have a lot of time to do stuff that I'd usually do in my routine, like listening to hours of music. I love this album so much that I've found a way to listen five times already. It says a lot ... read more

Paramore - This Is Why
89

Paramore is a band that I desperately need to get into. I know some of their hits, but I'd like to really get into their deep cuts. And if it hits as hard as this, I'll be in heaven. I really enjoyed the singles that were released prior to the album release, apart from C'est Comme Ça. And I think I'm not the only one, since it's by far the lowest rated song in the tracklist by the users.

I was scared that the album wouldn't be as good as the singles, but that fear is now long gone. ... read more

RAYE - My 21st Century Blues
85

Before my first listen, I didn't really know who was RAYE. So coming into this album, my expectations were basically at zero. Well I'm glad gave this a chance. The vibes are immaculate, and the fact that this is her first official album makes it even more impressing. There isn't really a dull moment throughout the 46 minutes.

While writing this, I discovered that a few of the songs on here were released in 2022. And some of these are some of the best songs off the record (like Escapism, The ... read more

Caroline Polachek - Desire, I Want to Turn Into You
87

I wasn't the biggest fan of Pang, but I gotta say that Caroline did something here that I actually enjoyed. There's something very catchy to some of these songs. It's not traditionnal pop music and it's totally alright, because she has mastered this genre (art pop, I guess). The only real downside that I could say is that the singles were by far my favorite tracks. Out of the 7 new tracks, the only song that I might go back to is Butterfly Net. But I mean those five singles were absolutely ... read more

Måneskin - RUSH!
69

You know, I actually really enjoyed some of the singles that they released before this. But this thing... it's not it. Do I think it deserves as much hate as it currently gets? Nah, but I could see why people dislike this. That being said, I've never heard a song I hated more after one listen than BLA BLA BLA. That thing is absolute dogshit and the band should throw every single file of this song that they still own into a volcano, Lord of the Rings style. Difference is, I don't think anybody ... read more

Mac DeMarco - Five Easy Hot Dogs
78

I think this is as good as we could've expected an instrumental Mac DeMarco album to be, honestly. I love his music, but my expectations weren't that high. That being said, I do find myself enjoying the chill vibe coming out of this record. It's easy to listen, and somewhat relaxing.

Lil Yachty - Let's Start Here.
98

This is huhhhh... amazing.. If anybody had ''Lil Yachty will release a psychedelic rock album'' or ''Lil Yachty will release an AOTY contender'' in their 2023 predictions, I'm buying you a drink. This is one of the biggest and most drastic changes I've witnessed, and I'm all for it.

What I particularly like about this album is that I can hear the influences; Pink Floyd is all over it. But he didn't try to recreate something that was already made. He created his own sound and wanted to make a ... read more

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare
100

This is the best album by A7X for sure. It's a recent heavy metal classic.

Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
83

Could they put a real, full, not deluxe version of this on Spotify? Come on man. It's a classic, that's undeniable, but not my favorite genre of music, so not the best person to judge this.

Cigarettes After Sex - Cigarettes After Sex
92

Omg I love this what the hell. It's not the most original, or the most interesting album, but it makes me feel so good for some reason. It's like so reassuring for somehow.

my bloody valentine - loveless
79

I don't know what I expected from this album, but it didn't reach my expectations. I guess I thought it was supposed to be a completely different genre, so I'll have to give it more time.

Kendrick Lamar - untitled unmastered.
87

If this is what Kendrick leftovers sound like, I really want to hear what kind of music they threw in the trash. It still has to be freaking great. This is short, but damn good.

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
84

I feel like a rich grown up listening to this. That being said, I don't think I have the knowledge to criticize or praise this classic of music. But it's very relaxing, I like it.

Fugees - The Score
90

I loved Lauryn Hill from Miseducation, and this is just as good, but I also love the chemistry with the other band members on here. It's one of the most influential hip hop album for a reason.

A$AP Rocky - AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP
84

This might be my favorite Rocky album in the end. He has a solid discography, but some of his best and most legendary songs are on this record.
