I’ve had a month to collect my thoughts on this album, and I have much to say. Much of the discussion surrounding this album has, naturally, revolved around his recent beef with Drake. With this album, you either love it or hate it. Most will hate it. It's very easy to just brush this off as simply meant to be provocative, or not meant to be taken seriously at all, but I don't entirely disagree with this assessment. Of course, Kirin seems well aware of this view and plays into it throughout the project, but there is a lot more to be explored than first meets the eye. Jeff Buckley's 'Grace' is an exceptional album. Anyone who knows music will tell you that. But when I say it, I mean it very literally. This album is an exception to a lot of the things that usually turn me away from an artist or album. It's all to easy to get lost in the story of this album and lose sight of how beautiful the music truly is.
