The production is so thick and spooky and it bangs. I live for music that sounds evil like this. 'Psalms 23' sounds like it could soundtrack the first Silent Hill game. It might even sample the soundtrack, but I can't tell for sure.

2020 was the year I found out about Backxwash. It was in fact a week or so ago that I heard of them too. I will say it would have not been an appropriate 2020 without having checked out their material because it’s scary stuff all around. This EP of four songs are an even make of metal and hip hop and the topics Backxwash brings up through their lyrics and the way they passionately dish those lyrics out are visceral and animalistic with which they do so.
