Physicist is Devin Townsend’s third solo studio album. This album is just as proggy as the last one but here he cranks up the heaviness a few notches. There are moments on this album that are full on extreme metal with blast beats that sound like they could be from Strapping Young Lad, these are some of the best moments on the album.
