today we have Big Generator (1987)
this album was really underwhelming and a big step down compared to 90125, it just feels like they copy and pasted 90125 but just forgot that they could make pop rock with and nice hint of progressive stuff in it and instead doubled into the pop side and tried to recreate the success they had 4 years earlier with 90125.

not a sound i’m used to from Yes, they’re very poppy. this borders on AOR almost all the time. is it good? it’s a feel good, i’ll admit. but it’s just not Yes
I was doing a yes discog dive a few years ago and I stopped reviewing them at a certain point just to focus on reviewing other stuff but I kept listening to them. Today I am gong to log all the yes albums I haven’t yet
