This is abysmal. The voices are so ridiculously auto-tuned that it sounds like a chorus of mosquitoes were allowed near the microphone, which, in that case, still probably would have sounded better than the kids themselves. Not even elementary school gym teachers would add some of these horrendous tunes to their soundtrack. You’d have to be a masochist to enjoy this Kidz Bop agglomeration.

Jojo, have you learned nothing?
Although called Guilty Pleasure, there is certainly nothing pleasurable about Jojo’s first EP in her allegedly revolutionary journey into gay pop (or least, how she describes it.) Generally, I just listen to music to have consistent background noises, an emotional release, or something energizing to keep me from launching into unconsciousness in my life. While I have a developing interest in advocating for or dismantling music, I don’t suspect my takes to meet the level of depth, provocative thought, or effort I see in some publications here. I’ll try to reflect my opinions and what I see in some albums, but don’t anticipate renaissance-worthy revelations.
