Today is this albums 7th anniversary so I think it’s time to finally review it.
I’ve tried writing this review several times in the past, but I’ve had a lot of trouble doing so. The biggest roadblock I’ve encountered is just how much I connect with this album on an emotional level, as opposed to rating it as an objective piece of music. I know it’s a trope to say an album, or a song changed your life, but I really think this album has done that for me. So, in ... read more
This is the kind of album that's hard to classify. Like, there's plenty of sad, noisy albums out there but this one sound different. There are no other albums that feel this bleak, hopeless, and utterly nihilistic. It's music that feels without purpose, made only to be made, and that's what makes it amazing.

Neotheater at least seemed like they took a few risks that did not pay off at all, but this is just them watering down their sound. There was at least ironic enjoyment to be found in the other 2 albums, but this is just boring.
Anyways this album still suffers from the core problems that every AJR album has. Use of quirky, obnoxious sound effects; lyrics that don't ... read more
1 Trait Danger, globally known as the worst band ever, release their third album: 1 Trait Bangers. Compared to their previous work this feels a lot more like a cohesive story rather than just a bunch of songs put together. This is also one of those 'infinetly looping' albums, where the last track leads into the first one. Rather than with instruments, they do this with a skit, which I thought was really cool. Though, I did find the album kinda short and it left me wanting more. Another thing is ... read more
It's not really good, but just the fact that Rebecca took such an infamous song and turned it into this is amazing.
