To fully enjoy such a heart tugging experience, one must undergo detriment. So I watched Marley & Me on repeat.
Say what you want about Lizzy but what you can't dismiss is her talent to tango with our emotions. This is essentially my first album I'm delving into from her, so I can't exactly speak on where her standards lie. However, I'm thoroughly impressed with the folksy soft-spoken energy she gives us. Lizzy's voice brimming with subtlety giving the listener ... read more
Feels way too empty. Clearly there were lots of missing ingredients that I wish had been put together but sadly it was left undercooked. Arrogantly void of personality not to mention.

HOLY HOLY, WHAT A LISTEN!!
Black MIDI's Frontman Geordie Greep has done it AGAIN! It’s difficult to find a starting ground to explain the massacre that is this album. A beautiful, maniacal, barbaric project that stands tall behind jazz rock production and lunatic lyricism.
It’s admirable when you find such a ground in music that can push such a complicated and deterring sound but have it come off so simplistic in feeling. As there’s a thousand things going on I know ... read more
Only ATCQ can make political rap sound this thrilling. Q-Tip giving TPAB a run for its money.
LOOK HOW THEY'VE MASSACRED MY LEGEND!
As much as I love Sophie it pains me to see what the exit to her legacy looks like. I know I can't exactly push any blame onto Sophie (may she rest in peace). As an overall project it feels somewhat unfinished and empty. We drop the experimental side that made her production special and stripped the LP down to an uninspired dance album for the most part. The excitement is quaint and I find myself to be bored more than not. I'm sure if she ... read more
The mind-bending madness! The caged emotion! Xiu Xiu has returned!😭
The most rough around the edges yet internally fragile album to date. Xiu Xiu gives us shaky and haunting vocals layered onto Earth shattering production. The horror never stops!

Best Alvvays record in my humble opinion. Amazing to see how much they've grown since the freshman LP. This band utilized their strengths, expanded way past their beach bunny esque sound and took it upon themselves to create something more unique. An absolute highlight in dreampop.
Comparatively to Sam's last project [Promises], I appreciate the more technic/electronic side of things on this LP. Well rounded and once again a vibrant experience in it's own manner. The production and progression on this album takes a more minimalist approach with sounds being in a more calm tone for the most part. You have your dance banger to kick things off and the rest becomes along the lines of complex rhythmic techno. Feels a bit like a spin off of your average Aphex Twin ... read more
If this album was a quote it'd be "It's not about the destination, but the friends we made along the way".
THE DANCE FLOOR IS FALLING ASLEEP JAMIE!
Hearing Baddy on the floor set not only high expectations but a clear indication of what Jamie xx would bring.. Or so I thought? I appreciate the LP for its electronic dancehall endeavors, but feel less of an interest when sitting through some long winded tracks. The rhythm is presented on a silver platter yet isn't delivered fresh. There were a few times where we kick things off sweet and well paced but then it takes 2 minutes for the beat to ... read more
Rest in peace but once again it's the expected.. Wish he had time to grow as an artist. Sucks to see his label profiting off of scrapped work he probably wouldn't want released.
Exactly what you'd expect from Pluto. Nothing too deterring but nothing grasping either, Future continuously provides a back and forth discography and I hope he sees this issue one day. More snoozers rather than energetic bangers, not to mention I think Future might've LITERALLY been asleep on the track plutoski. Regardless I found it hilarious. The harsh reality of repetition is so clear within this man. It might be time for him to push a new sound because having a one dimensional ... read more
