Common - Like Water for Chocolate

The Light is one of my favorite beats of all time because of its simplicity simple drum + bass + vocal sample has never worked better imo

Freddie Gibbs - You Only Die 1nce

Not one of Freddie's strongest unfortunately

Nick Drake - Pink Moon

I think I would like this more if chronically online music nerds didn't overrate it

Dystopia - Human = Garbage
99

One of the most nihilistic albums ever.

This album is rooted in a deep hatred for the human race and all the harm it has done, addressing many social issues such as racism, the harmful effects of capitalism, and corruption—much like many punk albums do. However, there’s something about the way these themes are attacked here that feels especially raw. Lines like “I know you don’t care except for money and power,” “Ways to survive don’t involve killing ... read more

Thinks she's Nas dropping as a teenager lol 😂.

For an album made by a teenager this is really fucking great her voice is still incredible really the worst thing about this album is kinda racial album cover

Jessie Murph - Sex Hysteria

Honestly I think the lyricism is fine, the production is pretty generic but not terrible but what kneecaps this heavily is the fucking SINGING

Still a bit overhated but its country people don't like the genre all that much

Justin Bieber - Believe

Teen Pop is a genre?

Why the fuck is Ludacris and Big Sean on this yeah this is the most mediocre music I've ever listened to id rather listen to revival or father of all

Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday

Solid as hell Nicki is actually a pretty solid lyricist I'm just not a fan of the outdated ass production and features (Rihanna is solid tho)

"I love how the comment right under this is praising Olivia. Also you have to understand Olivia isn't really taking herself too seriously. I think she's relatively self-aware that she's just making music for a melancholic teenage audience you don't have to like it because of that but try to be more nuanced."

"That's something I see commonly, I think this is by far the best produced hip-hop album after Liquid Swords, but there is a legitimate argument that its a bit too experimental."

"@disidoroo Sorry for responding like a month later 😶, but I don’t really see how that’s the case. Once again, “Heartbreaker” is on this thing, and that riff can rival pretty much every song in their discography in that department — “When the Levee Breaks,” “The Rover,” etc. “What Is and What Should Never Be,” “The Lemon Song,” and “Whole Lotta Love” are pretty rockin’ as well. Even “Moby Dick,” the instrumental track, opens with a sick riff. I don’t really get this take. Sure, it’s not as lyrically sharp, but that’s a completely different argument. To be honest, I’d argue Led Zeppelin IV is way more tame by comparison"
