MF DOOM - MM..FOOD

R.I.P. the illest villain.

I love MM..FOOD so much—it’s honestly kind of insane that Daniel Dumile dropped two 10/10 projects in the same year. Just like Madvillainy, this album has a really strong comic-book vibe, from the skits to the overall food-themed concept, and it all fits DOOM’s character perfectly. Every time I revisit MM..FOOD, it just reinforces why it’s a classic to me. It’s an easy 10/10. It’s MF DOOM, so you already know what you’re ... read more

Childish Gambino - Camp

Lol this is actually a really fun lighthearted album its definitely not for everyone though I mean look at Melon Man

Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
96

R.I.P. Ozzy Osbourne.

One of the greatest metal records of all time. It’s honestly crazy how heavy and psychedelic this album sounds for something that came out in the ’70s. The riffs are nasty all the way through, and the closing track especially hits like a brick. Ozzy’s vocals are a huge part of why this record works so well—he sounds raw, emotional, and completely locked in. The lyrics feel very human, dealing with fear, pain, confusion, and the feeling of being ... read more

"I love how the comment right under this is praising Olivia. Also you have to understand Olivia isn't really taking herself too seriously. I think she's relatively self-aware that she's just making music for a melancholic teenage audience you don't have to like it because of that but try to be more nuanced."

"That's something I see commonly, I think this is by far the best produced hip-hop album after Liquid Swords, but there is a legitimate argument that its a bit too experimental."

"@disidoroo Sorry for responding like a month later 😶, but I don’t really see how that’s the case. Once again, “Heartbreaker” is on this thing, and that riff can rival pretty much every song in their discography in that department — “When the Levee Breaks,” “The Rover,” etc. “What Is and What Should Never Be,” “The Lemon Song,” and “Whole Lotta Love” are pretty rockin’ as well. Even “Moby Dick,” the instrumental track, opens with a sick riff. I don’t really get this take. Sure, it’s not as lyrically sharp, but that’s a completely different argument. To be honest, I’d argue Led Zeppelin IV is way more tame by comparison"
