Yapoos - ヤプーズ計画 [Yapoos Keikaku]
95

I'm a traitor found this one on rate your music :(

A really interesting Techno Kayo/Art Pop release from '87 I'd urge you to check out.

Janet Jackson - The Velvet Rope
95

Peak baby-making music.

To be completely honest, I’m not usually a fan of contemporary R&B, but there’s just something about how Janet does it that I love so damn much—probably because I’m such a massive fan of trip hop and art pop. Lyrically, it goes over themes of sex, love, desire, kinkiness, and sensuality, and the vocals are consistently excellent all the way through.

The tracklist is filled with sensual beauty and amazing songs from front to back: The Velvet ... read more

Radiohead - OK Computer
99

I think everyone knows what makes Ok Computer great. Its like objectively a 10/10 album, but still here's a review of every song (this is long Jesus Christ).

#1 Airbag: (100/100)
One of my personal favorites on the album and of all time. I absolutely love the bass and guitar work on this track. It’s a really eerie and dark riff, mixing perfectly with the lyricism of the song about surviving a car crash and feeling reborn afterward, while also mixing it with a distrust for technology ... read more

Mazzy Star - Among My Swan
87

One of Mazzy Star's best project further proving why their the quintessential dream pop band

伊藤真澄 [Masumi Ito] - Wonder Wonderful
92

This thing sounds like a Disney soundtrack

The Faith Healers - Imaginary Friend
75

First rating/review some very solid noise pop & rock from '94

Esthero - Breath From Another
86

Really great trip hip

Imagine Dragons - Evolve
50

The hits on this project are truly the worst songs on the record. I fucking despise Thunder and Believer, hearing them fucking everywhere still to this day, especially Thunder, which has become probably a bottom 10 song of all time for me. But I don't feel like the rest of the songs are quite as bad as those ones—just a bunch of redneck, truck-driving, sports-going, explosive pop rock anthems, with the exception of whatever the fuck Yesterday is.

The reason why I still don't ... read more

Kanye West - The College Dropout
99

Quite possibly the most influential in all of hip-hop as a whole (besides like paid in full or something) I don't want to imagine hip-hop without super influential songs like Spaceship Slow Jamz or Jesus Walks

100-99

Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
99

I'm surprised Progressive-Jazz isn't a genre anyways one of the best jazz albums of all time Pharaoh's Dance is my favorite Jazz song of all time and my favorite purely instrumental song as well

Dry Cleaning - Secret Love
90

Yeah not for every one.

Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
97

One of Bob's best Idiot Wind is one of my favorite songs of all time period

Lil Pump - Lil Pump
50

This is just generic trapalbum I don't get the hate or the love for it gonna and lil baby have made this same album like 10 times but people respect them way more

Curtis Mayfield - Curtis
65

Grossly overrated at least we got Touch The Sky from it

94

Probably the greatest rap metal album oat

Vana - Pray
87

For some reason I'm super into this bad bitch screamed metal thing

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
65

Its solid not many bangers the not worth 8 years

The Unicorns - Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?
86

Damn Fantano must be a sad indie boi if he thinks this is a 10/10

Kidneythieves - Trickster
80

Solid industrial record.

"I love how the comment right under this is praising Olivia. Also you have to understand Olivia isn't really taking herself too seriously. I think she's relatively self-aware that she's just making music for a melancholic teenage audience you don't have to like it because of that but try to be more nuanced."

"That's something I see commonly, I think this is by far the best produced hip-hop album after Liquid Swords, but there is a legitimate argument that its a bit too experimental."

"@disidoroo Sorry for responding like a month later 😶, but I don’t really see how that’s the case. Once again, “Heartbreaker” is on this thing, and that riff can rival pretty much every song in their discography in that department — “When the Levee Breaks,” “The Rover,” etc. “What Is and What Should Never Be,” “The Lemon Song,” and “Whole Lotta Love” are pretty rockin’ as well. Even “Moby Dick,” the instrumental track, opens with a sick riff. I don’t really get this take. Sure, it’s not as lyrically sharp, but that’s a completely different argument. To be honest, I’d argue Led Zeppelin IV is way more tame by comparison"
