Decent pop record but is not sonically diverse and every song basically follows the same song structure and doesn’t try new things from track to track
(Original) Kanye’s and kudi’s best work
(New) still amazing but shrank a little
Slow dive comes back with another dreamy, shoegaze, and synth pop combination of sounds in this album. An ethereal experience which falls flat because of one reason for me. The vocals. The vocals here are not mixed well, sound out of place, and you can tell the age in their voices compared to their music in the 90s. Although repetitive i respect Taylor’s dive into more experimental pop and trying new things
Although better than the original red, the sounds on this album are overall mediocre and the only redeeming factor is the all to well 10 minute version which is one of Taylor’s best tracks.
