Slow dive comes back with another dreamy, shoegaze, and synth pop combination of sounds in this album. An ethereal experience which falls flat because of one reason for me. The vocals. I appreciate the come back attempt but some of these tracks feels like they are trying to do the same thing and feel less experimental compared to the time their first albums were released.

Some of the most boring, and un-redeeming pop I’ve ever heard.

Worse than folklore

Although better than the original red, the sounds on this album are overall mediocre and the only redeeming factor is the all to well 10 minute version which is one of Taylor’s best tracks.
