and just like that we go from one of the most harrowing albums i’ve ever heard to one of the most fun. the amount of energy on this is just incredible. i like how abstract the lyrics are and kevin barnes has such a versatile voice. the way the songs transition into each other is just fucking awesome. i had such a great time listening to this

on one hand, call me if you get lost is a very good album. it combines some of the best elements of tyler’s previous albums. however, it also brings back issues that haven’t affected tyler’s music since 2015, which ultimately leads to me enjoying this less than both igor and flower boy. i lie here.. is just entertaining as it is terrifying.
the atmosphere backxwash manages to create is dark as hell yet extremely beautiful. i really love the way she blends industrial metal and hip hop into something that sounds nothing like anything i’ve heard before. the production on this is fucking wild and it truly impresses me that (apart from a little help from clppng), she produced this on her own!
