kate has outdone herself once again
this is without a doubt one of my favorite albums of tje 2020s so far and i feel so fucking proud to know that i am friends with the person behind it and have even made a song with her before. every song on this album feels like it could be the climax of the album. it all feels so epic and grand. the production on this is fucking incredible, considering the fact that kate has only been making music for 2 years (edit; this is not true!!!! her first ep was ... read more

after not releasing anything other than a couple remixes for almost 4 years, the band that got me into music has finally released a new song and it’s absolutely spectacular. in the 2010’s, fall out boy put out three pop rock albums that were very poorly received. while i do enjoy the first two of these albums, there’s no denying that they were nowhere near the level of the pop punk albums they put out in the 2000s. luckily, fob seem to be headed back to that ... read more

this is a really great project. nothing too different from any other haunted mound album, but the formula works so they might as well stick to it. not really much to say about this other than the fact that it sure is a sematary album

this whole song had me in tears, but the line “it’s hard to see mama love without you” as well as the im sorry at the end absolutely fucking broke me. this song is so painfully beautiful.
the first album i listened to in 2023 is by band be been a fan of for a while. i’ve loved their previous albums and even got the opportunity to see them live a couple months ago!! this is their first album in over 8 years so needless to say , i was very excited when i saw it’s announcement. this does not really feel like a comeback album, but i really enjoyed it regardless. i like how they take their old sound and add to it with influence from a variety of genres outside of pop ... read more
overall this was a nice listen and my friend concrete castles showed a lot of potential with his debut as losing lustre. the vocals combined with the production give this album a really nice and cozy feel. speaking of the production, it sounds surprisingly professional, with the brass (which i’m assuming was played on a synth or some midi interface, if not it’s even more impressive that you can play these instruments), sounding incredible. I do have a couple issues.

i keep thinking pusha t is on this record but then i check and it’s just some random guy doing a shitty pusha t impression
holy shit.
i did not want to give out a score this high this early into 2022. i saw the 90 user score and thought “it can’t be that good”. i wanted to be one of the cool contrarians who didn’t absolutely adore this album but here we are. i cannot find anything to dislike about this album. every track is just phenomenal. the instrumentals are some of the best i’ve ever heard and isaac’s vocals are one of a kind. while all of the songs here are great, i think ... read more
rating is only for the new songs.
these bonus tracks are so much better than the real album i’m confused
