not sure what to say that's already been said. the only thing preventing it from a 100 is imo welcome to the machine, I think it achieves hat it's going for very well but it's not for me and I don't feel it fits that well on the album either, although if anyone disagrees feel free to let me know why. but yeah, it's still maybe their best? idk I've not decided
This is a strange one. It's is the only other album with the core lineup of Kay, Zender, Smith and McKenzie which absolutely shone on ROTSC, and yet while I really enjoyed the songs I knew from this one, I didn't really have any desire to do? I suppose they seemed to lack the depth that their first and especially second albums seemed to be chock full of, but maybe I just don't know this record as well yet.
