I’m upset. I’m genuinely upset by this album. This album made me feel a lot of things over its history. When I first listened to “Can’t Cool Me Down” when it was released, I hated it and was not looking forward to the album. The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art.
