Note: I listened to the Uk version which has the bonus track “Yeah! New York”. I get LCD Soundsystem vibes from it and I don’t know why, since it sounds nothing like them.
Arguably one of the most important albums in the 2000’s garage rock scene, this really sounds unique and different in a cool way! Karen O’s vocal performance is great and the instrumentals are really interesting. One of the better albums from a gradually overcrowding scene.

Note: I listened to the UK reissue which has ‘Forget Her’ as the closer.
I mean, yeah. Utterly beautiful and heartbreaking. You can really tell Jeff put his heart and soul into everything. Everything is fantastic and gorgeous, from the brilliant instrumentals, to the crushing lyrics. Rightly deserving of this score.
Favourite tracks: Mojo Pin, Grace, Hallelujah, Lover, You Should’ve Come Over, Eternal Life, Forget Her
Really good collection of songs! You can definatley hear a lot of the sound that was eventually on Ego Death, but a bit rougher here.
Favourite tracks: Simmer, Dead Horse, Pure Love

Peak 80’s synthpop. It sounds extremely dated but it gives it a kind of charm you know.
Favourite tracks: Rio, Hungry Like The Wolf, The Chauffeur
Least favourite: Lonely In Your Nightmare
Note: I listened to the UK version, Which has the bonus track ‘86 (live in Prague)
I’m late by two days but happy 25th Warning!
This is definitely the most different Green Day Album, having a pretty different sound to their other albums. Still, it’s really solid! I think some of their best lyrics are on this, especially ‘Misery’.
Favourite tracks: Church On Sunday, Waiting, Minority

What is this website on? Because this was really good!
Nowhere near his best, but still a solid album, with some real nice sounding production. Maybe that’s just my vinyl and speakers though.
Favourite tracks: Saw Lightning, Chemical, Stratosphere
Least favourite: Hyperlife
A lot of really good demos on here. A shame most of these ended up scrapped, but some of these are great!
Favourite tracks: Blast Off!, Superfriend, Lovers in the Snow

Really solid. Definitely not their best but pretty good, especially Johnny Marr’s guitar work! He does his usual and makes a lot of the tracks go from good to great.
Favourite tracks: Dashboard, Missed the Boat, Spitting Venom
Least favourite:Steam Engenius
There was so much missed potential here. Most of the instrumentals are really good but Jesus do these lyrics suck total ass. If the lyrics were any good, this would be a classic mid-2000’s hip-hop album.
Favourite tracks: The Queen and I, New Friend Request, On My Own Time
Least favourite: It’s Okay but just this once
It's really more of a curtis knight live album since Hendrix was only on guitar. Solid though.
Note: I listened to the UK version which has the bonus tracks ‘Send A Message To Her’ and ‘Chain Reaction’, both of which should have been on the standard album.
Beck to basics (sorry that pun fucking sucks)
This is the closed to Odelay that Beck has gotten, even getting the same producers, and it shows. This is just as fun as Odelay! Sounds like a proper follow up even if it took a decade.
Favourite tracks: E-Pro, Qué Onda Guero, Chain Reaction

This is a stupidly fun album! It’s so full of energy and brimming with personality! Essential late 80’s listening!

“Brett. Hey, it’s 1980 David Bowie from the music video Ashes To Ashes.” - Flight of the Conchords
It’s a classic for a reason. Sounds really nice with some great vocal and instrumentals! Really feels like she put her all into it!
Favourite tracks: Rhythm Nation, Miss You Much, Escapade

A couple of fine tracks. Nothing too special, but neat nonetheless.
Favourite track: Empty Heart,

Really need to check out more stuff from these guys because this was great! Super catchy and fun.

Decent little live album with some good picks
Favourite tracks: Dope Nose, Holiday

Daft Punk’s Discovery but dark and evil.
I love the more industrial sound Justice have over other French House acts, really helps it stand out! But something about it doesn’t entirely click with me. It’s great but I prefer the sound Daft Punk were going for when still a band.
Favourite tracks: Genesis, D.A.N.C.E., Waters of Nazareth
Least favourite: Tthhee Ppaarrttyy
Edit 98 --> 100 Yeah sure this absolutely rules
Note: I listened to the UK CD version which has a track 0 called ‘lullaby’ (it’s really sweet!) and a cover of ‘Beat It’ as a bonus track.
Easily their best and most interesting album. The experimentation on this album really helps it to stand out in their catalog! As a sucker for when bands expand their sound with things like horns, this was definitely going to be a favourite!
