Imagine making one of the best house tracks of all time and just leaving it at that. Nothing else. Legendary
It's just some demos of the Trilogy albums. Nothing much to add except that the roughness adds a certain charm to them. Stay The Night Accoustic is really sweet though, might be better than the album version
I really don’t know how to describe this album. It’s sorta one of a kind!
Favourite tracks: On The Outside, Capitalism, Only A Lad
Least favourite: Perfect System
I really liked this! Hayley has some really good vocals throughout. Decoy is great and should have been on an album.
Note: I listened to the UK version which has the bonus track “G.I.N.A.S.F.S”
Probably their best purely Pop-punk effort. It really shows how well they refined their skills over 4 years. Also the start of experimenting with different instruments that get fleshed out on Folie A Deux.
I do want to know why Jay-Z is on track 1 though. That’s just odd.
Favourite tracks: “The Take Over, The Breaks Over”, Thnks fr th mmrs, G.I.N.A.S.F.S

Really the first ‘essential’ Beatles Album. It’s solid, and the best pre-psychedelic album of theirs, but nowhere near most of the stuff afterwards.
Favourite tracks: Drive My Car, Nowhere Man, In My Life
Least favourite: Run For Your Life
Note: I listened to the UK version which has “The Power Of Love” as an extra track.
Something something ,American Psycho, yada yada
This is the most 80’s album I’ve heard, but in a good way! It’s a solid album where any of the songs can be played on an 80’s throwback radio station.
Favourite tracks: Jacob’s Ladder, Hip To Be Square, The Power Of Love
Least favourite: Naturally
Solid live recording. Really enjoyed the chats but wish they included the rest of the performance, since two more tracks were played.
Incredibly beautiful from start to finish! That’s all I have to say.
Favourite tracks: Flight Test, Yoshimi pt. 1, Do You Realize??
Least favourite: Yoshimi pt. 2
Easily one of the best pop-punk albums of its era. It sounds so full and shows the band’s unique sound exceptionally!
Favourite tracks: Everything Is Alright, When “You’re” Around, Hold Me Down
Least Favourite: Together We’ll Ring in the New Year
Wasn’t sure what this would sound like, since Bleed American was apparently a very different sound compared to this. Turns out this was a lot more gentle and warming than I would have expected!
It has this really lush quality to most of the tracks, that helps it to stand out in the scene and the bands other stuff. The mix of electronica elements and a traditional emo sound are especially interesting and cool!
Favourite tracks: Lucky Denver Mint, Just Watch The Fireworks, Clarity

The poster child for a dumb fun album personally.
It’s pretty stupid lyrically, falling into a lot of cliches, but that’s fine. Cliches have to start somewhere after all. The instrumentals are really good and fun throughout, with lots of energy!
Favourite tracks: What’s My Age Again?, Dysentery Gary, Adam’s Song
Least favourite: The Party Song
I don’t really have much to say about this. It’s a pretty damn good indie album. It mashes different styles pretty well and all the songs sound quite nice.
Favourite tracks: Crying, Love Dog, DLZ
Least favourite: Stork & Owl
Oh this fantastic alright. A haunting album all the way through, from the lyrics and instrumentals, right down to the vibe. Iconic, I dare say!
Favourite tracks: Personal Jesus, Halo, Enjoy The Silence, Policy Of Truth
Note: I listened to the expanded version on streaming that has 4 more tracks.
For some reason this was the first They Might Be Giants album I heard front to back in like 2021. I think it was because I was just getting into them and they released the expanded version recently so I chose that one.
Anyway, what a weird album. This is one of those albums that feels like it never happened, probably due to the date, but this impacted the band pretty heavily. It sunk the label Restless and the band ... read more
Left the first album wanting more, and I got it! Just as good as You’re A Woman.
Favourite tracks: Dead Womb, My Love Is Shared
Least favourite: Too Much Love
Exceptionally good and noisy! Everything fits very snuggly and sounds great. Gave me of Queens Of The Stone Age vibes.
Favourite tracks: Romantic Rights, Black History Month, Little Girl
Least favourite: Sexy Results
An unexpectedly solid album. Surprised they still have it in them to make something decent after a long break and nearly 20 years since their peak.
Favourite tracks: Take What You Want, honestly i, Barely Alive
Least favourite: Big Blue Eyes
