It would be nice if it was just 5 minutes long.
I get that it's supposed to be artistic or conceptual or something, but as someone who's not particularly a Microphones fan, I have no desire to listen to this guy ramble over the same track for 45 minutes. And the boring photos don't help. Seriously, these photos are so bad.
I gave Dogrel a 90 and now I can't decide if I like one more than the other. They're both so good!! Gonna have to listen to both a few more times before I can decide.
Apparently she wasn't happy with her lack of input on KTSE, but couldn't someone have told her that 8 tracks is better than 23 every single time?
Based on nothing but what I'm enjoying at this moment in time, this is my favourite album of the year so far.
It's good, undoubtedly, but just doesn't feel as fresh/innovative anymore. Maybe I'm just getting old.
Every time I think I can no longer be surprised by the albums that AOTY users go crazy over, it happens again.
This album was way too long. I was so bored by about track 11.
Problem is I really don't like Jay Z and this felt kind of like a Jay Z album tbh
A vast improvement on his last couple of efforts, but anyone dreaming of a return to the Trilogy days will have to keep waiting.
Jamie XX did it so much better.
So long and boring. And I say this as someone who rated both Burial and Untrue 100.
