Derek and The Dominos - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
70

Pretty good album! I just hope the lead singer has cool views on immigrants and the drummer has a great relationship with their mom.

Ringo Starr - Long Long Road
40

Bad but I don’t care honestly. Glad Billy Shears is still making music.

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
90

Without a doubt Mustaine’s crowning achievement as a musician and guitarist.

Curtis Mayfield - Curtis

Now that’s how you make a fuckin album

Bruno Mars - The Romantic
70

Tied with his debut album as my least favorite album of his but even as perhaps his weakest album there’s still bangers on here. I Just Might, Something Serious, and On My Soul are great songs and the rest of the album ranges from fine to pretty good. Even a “mid” Bruno Mars album stands above most others. Still, coming off Silk Sonic, which I think is a masterpiece of modern pop soul it’s a tad disappointing.

David Bowie - David Bowie

What I imagine the Beatles sound like to people who don’t like the Beatles.

Various Artists - West Side Story
90

Not even a big musical theater guy, but even I can see the fucking genius on display here. What Bernstein and Sondheim accomplished on West Side Story is incredible.

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream
50

Almost Thriller-esque in terms of the amount of insane hits on this thing, but aside from the title track, which is great, none of the other hit songs are really anything special aside from offering some nostalgia to my elementary school self. The deep cuts don’t help much either.

Frank Sinatra - Trilogy: Past Present Future
50

Very odd album in Sinatra’s discography. A triple album that clocks in at over 100 minutes long and covers a wide variety of music. The first section is a bunch of classic showtunes and jazz standards, nothing really notable for him. The second section is the best with Sinatra covering, at the time, more modern love songs. The best of which is George Harrison’s Something which Sinatra does a wonderful cover of. Beatles covers are pretty dime a dozen but this one is very pretty. The ... read more

The Beatles - Abbey Road

This album cover is the definition of aura.

James Taylor - Sweet Baby James
70

Just some very pleasant soft/folk rock.

Justin Bieber - SWAG
40

It was pretty good for 30 minutes then it just kept going.

The Who - Quadrophenia
90

Alright this one’s pretty good

The Who - Who's Next
70

I don’t really think the deep cuts on here are great but the songs on here that have cemented themselves as classic rock staples like Baba O’Riley and Won’t Get Fooled Again are fantastic enough for me to say that this album is pretty good.

Geordie Greep - The New Sound
100

Fuck fuck holy fuck

U2 - All That You Can't Leave Behind
50

I can’t say for sure because I was negative six years old when this album came out but I feel like this album began the “U2 is annoying and pretentious” argument and I understand why.

John Coltrane - Meditations
70

At some points Coltrane’s best but also sometimes Coltrane’s just blaring the sax right in your ear. Liked it more than Ascension.

Genesis - ...Calling All Stations...
30

“It’s a Genesis album” 😄
“Except No Peter Gabriel”😐
“And No Phil Collins Either” 😕
“And it’s the 90s and we are WAY past our prime”😳

Nas - Illmatic
100

Gonna come through with an insane take and say that I think this a good album
