Pretty good album! I just hope the lead singer has cool views on immigrants and the drummer has a great relationship with their mom.
Bad but I don’t care honestly. Glad Billy Shears is still making music.
Without a doubt Mustaine’s crowning achievement as a musician and guitarist.
Tied with his debut album as my least favorite album of his but even as perhaps his weakest album there’s still bangers on here. I Just Might, Something Serious, and On My Soul are great songs and the rest of the album ranges from fine to pretty good. Even a “mid” Bruno Mars album stands above most others. Still, coming off Silk Sonic, which I think is a masterpiece of modern pop soul it’s a tad disappointing.
What I imagine the Beatles sound like to people who don’t like the Beatles.
Not even a big musical theater guy, but even I can see the fucking genius on display here. What Bernstein and Sondheim accomplished on West Side Story is incredible.

I don’t really think the deep cuts on here are great but the songs on here that have cemented themselves as classic rock staples like Baba O’Riley and Won’t Get Fooled Again are fantastic enough for me to say that this album is pretty good.
I can’t say for sure because I was negative six years old when this album came out but I feel like this album began the “U2 is annoying and pretentious” argument and I understand why.
At some points Coltrane’s best but also sometimes Coltrane’s just blaring the sax right in your ear. Liked it more than Ascension.
“It’s a Genesis album” 😄
“Except No Peter Gabriel”😐
“And No Phil Collins Either” 😕
“And it’s the 90s and we are WAY past our prime”😳
