The first EP by Staplers and it's a pretty solid release. The tracks are pretty good, though aren't the most mind-blowing tracks. Then again, you don't really need much to make good music and these guys did a good job with these tracks, where they sound pretty good, can be pretty catchy, and don't feel bloated and ... read more

So Sadly - 8/10
Review:
SSM's 3rd single, this song goes for a more somber feel with sadder lyrics, and softer instruments compared to their other tracks. This track is less grunge than their first two singles, but it's still just as great especially with that little guitar solo. Also one note is that the main guitar melody reminds me so much of Metallica's One

Watch Yourself - 8/10
Review:
SSM's 2nd single and this time, they go for a heavier sound for this song, while keeping that grunge that they established in Dead Doll. The song is fuzzy, has a drive, and the vocals sound like they're drained. I highly suggest to listen to it.

Dead Doll - 8/10
Review:
A brand new band from Paris, these guys are one of the new bands that have been popping up forming sort of a grunge revival, kicking off with their first song Dead Doll. It's a pretty solid song. It's catchy, groovy, and carries the style that bands like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Toadies innovated. I'd say that you should go listen to it if you're into grunge

A new band that popped up on my Spotify recommendations. This is their first song and they made a good track. It's groovy and catchy. I like this and would love to see what they put out next and see how they define their sound. I recommend listening to this

Review:
The 3rd EP by Ultra Q and I gotta say it is a bit of a step down from their previous 2. It starts off strong with Pupkin, and It's Permanent and progressively wains in quality as the last few tracks don't hit as hard as the first few. I suggest giving it a listen once.

The 2nd EP by Ultra Q and I gotta say it's a huge improvement from their first as you get to see that their music has grown a bit. Review:
Another banger from Maruja. I've seen some people on here ranking this song lower mainly because it's not as good as the Knocknarea tracks, but to me, even though it's not peak, it's still a standout track with the percussion in this song hitting particularly hard, especially when it uses the Amen Break. I highly suggest listening to this much like any other Maruja track because so far, they haven't made a single bad song yet

Dribbler is back with a new EP and I can report that it is really good. There's not a single bad song. 333 is such an amazing start, as it has that driving punk sound that reminds me of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Infinity Mirror is pretty good as it keeps that same energy, but it's ... read more

A huge improvement from their previous singles and EP. This is genuinely a great song. There's nothing that makes me go "Ehhh, maybe they shouldn't have done that" as everything sounds as it fits and it's a jam.
