Unreal. 6 Borderline perfectly crafted progressive house songs. These melodies sound SO DAMN GOOD. Every single song is over 8 minutes, giving so much room for progression and exploration of new sounds in the songs. I really love this, I've had it basically on repeat for the last week! Absolutely phenomenal Pryda release as always.

Super super good album, Absolutely love most of the tracks on here but there are a few that make it fall down a little. More like... formulaic than Eric Prydz Presents Pryda I feel. It tries less interesting ideas, but still manages to be great because the quality is just THERE. Just a bit bloated.

This is just... insane. Like genuinely this TRIPLE album is a milestone achievement in progressive house music. Every single track is so fun and enjoyable. The chords are done so well, the progression is perfect. All 3 discs are almost perfect and I have little to no gripes with this entire tracklist. Do you realise how insane that is? 34 tracks (streaming release) and I have almost ZERO gripes. To be honest, even the tiny little things I'd change annoy me less and less every listen to ... read more
Very good, but surprised at the rating tbh. has some UNBELIEVABLE tracks but like theres some obvious filler here too. Amazing tracks with some bloat sprinkled in. Someone tell JPEG that the instrumental has to be interesting to work as a stand alone piece lol, but maybe im just super critical of instrumental stuff, idk. also BMT is so disgustingly underrated, best song here tbh!

Holy shit. I had NO idea what to expect when coming into this. I didn't know about Groggs' death or anything, hadn't even heard of Injury Reserve. I literally just thought the cover was cool.
But oh my god this is so fucking good. The broken up instrumentals, haunting vocal effects and lyrics, the themes of technology algorithms and patterns, the themes of grief... wow dude. The lyrics on Top Picks for You are genuinely some of my favourite ever because of how they explore death in the modern ... read more
This is chill vibes done so, SO well. Like really and truly bro it's so relaxing. It sounds so nice and clean. Every sound has a little place in the atmosphere of this project. Summer 2014... is cool but it almost feels like more of an interlude to add to the worldbuilding that's kinda being done here, other than that it's not a great listen. Overall though, very nicely done! Peach Blonde is the standout here I think, sounds absolutely incredible.

Nice little consistent project here, has a couple songs I don't particularly like too much and nothing here stands out as AMAZING but yeah it's pretty good and an enjoyable listen!

Thanks to Adam for the recommendation!
Idk man. I just don't get it. The lyrics are so inspiring and stuff, truly. I'm glad that Porter is in a better place now but as for the music? I can't get behind it. The pitched up vocals annoy me a lot, the instrumental songs don't sound great a lot, and the production in general just doesn't appeal to me. I wouldn't say it's bad, but nah it doesn't appeal to me. It's a shame to disagree with popular opinion ... read more
Holy shit dude. This is honest to god one of the most consistent electronic records I've ever listened to. Pretty much every single song is of equal quality, and the quality standard is SO high. I like Mr. Bill anyways but this blew me away for real. And what's even wilder, if I reviewed this straight away it would've gotten like a 6.5-7 possibly. But IDK what happened on the second listen but I love this now. I could even see this going to a 9.5 in the future, we shall see. As for now, ... read more
Yeahhh I mean it is a cool enough project but it feels like SUCH a step back from phantasmagoria like??? A lot of the songs are in a similar vein but they just have way worse composing and sound design. It's like a direct step down, which is a really terrible quality for an album to have. Some amazing tracks I'll pull out of it like Haze, Rawthentic and Wybe but like oher than that I'm kinda disappointed.

Look, I'm well aware the quality of this isn't anywhere near perfect, not even close. But I don't think it matters. The production is basic and stripped back, but it works so DAMN well for the vibes they're pulling off here. This shit is so damn sad man, like truly. It's an EP completely focused on a recent breakup, and other problems in Amn3sia's life. Sometimes this kind of stuff can come off as edgy and cringe but no dude its really just sad here. You can FEEL the emotions in their voice, ... read more
I swear to god im not even glazing this. I have ZERO nostalgia attached to this bro like I literally got obsessed with Insecure and never decided to check out any of his other music. That being said, I actually like this bro. Like I just can't hate it, some of it is wayyy too much fun. The production can be boring but some of it is so nice too. Has some pretty bad stinkers but overall its alright. And I really do love tracks like Real Things and Imagination for some reason. idk why

Not mcuh to say about this one, kinda just alright. Progressive house that does the job but like its's so uninspired i have no reason to pick it over anything else.

I mean like having listened to deadmau5 entire discography, and loving him so much... this just feels boring. like the quality is absolutely there and it is for the entirety of the album but god forbid they took a SINGLE risk even. This is just run of the mill modern """progressive house""" with some vocalists tacked on to it which at best are really good, but at worst detract from the song so much. I like it solely cus it has the talent and stamp of a deadmau5 and ... read more
This album is INCREDIBLY consistent, like really. Almost every single song you hear is just a complete banger and super enjoyable. Songs like TOKYO and CHICK are genuinely incredible dude I love them so much. I recommend this album to anyone just because of how fun and chaotic it is. It knows what it's doing, but YOU dont know where its going and I love that.

I'm definitely fa from black metal's no. 1 fan but this shit lowkey goes hard dude. OF course i really amnt into this genre too much so im not gonna score it high, but a 60 is actually really good for me I promise. I especially enjoy the instrumentals, like theyre just really well done and enjoyable. Ill never get used to black metal vocals but thats just a personal preference thing, i really cant fault the instrumentals.
thank you to my gf for the rec !!!
I can absolutely see why everyone is so in love with this. like the vibes it manages to create and the sort of headspace it puts you in is like ABSOLUTELY one of of a kind and i think that goes without saying. i feel like if i ever started to listen to other shoegaze albums and really got into the genre, id be back to this first because it FEELS like its doing everything right. The completely bizarre arrangement of vocals and guitar chords and everything man ... read more
