Behind the ass-shaking rhythms and constant party vibes lies a love letter to Puerto Rico and a cry against the gentrification it's being put through. It's warm and cozy like a nice cup of café con ron. It's filled to the brim with the nostalgia and appreciation Benito feels for his homeland. It makes you feel happy despite everything that's going on around you. That's the power of this album - in the face of despair, it brings hope.

Back when I was expanding my music taste into hyperpop adjacent stuff, this project stuck out with its crispy clean production and perfect mix of vibey atmosphere and hard-knocking drums. Very fun listen. Shame that a certain someone ruined the project for all of us...
