The fact he was nearly 40 when he made this is astonishing. This definitely feels like an album someone half his age would make.
I respect it more than I like it, but I still like it! It's goundbreaking and a necessary record and my favourite tracks are some of the best Bowie's ever been a part of, but it's not my favourite album he's ever done.
