One band name I've been sitting on for years now is Soundtrack To A Car Crash. A fun, albeit unnecessary update on one of the best songs from Weezer's fantastic "Ok Human".
You can call it a one-trick pony, but the one trick this pony knows is an utterly unbridled serving of beautiful, genuine expressiveness.
Rise Against seems to only put out two types of tracks anymore: more of the same in a good way and then more of the same in a bad way. Fortunately, unlike the last 2 singles, this new track mostly resides in the former. This is because lyrically it actually feels somewhat urgent in comparison to the band's other most recent efforts (the video really serves its purpose this time around as being an effective visualizer for the content of the piece)

While it is one of their weaker works, Pure is still an intriguing document that shows traces of the monumental, driving force that The Jesus Lizard would very quickly become
