My second Boris record and easily my favorite. It's dark and so rich it gives me chills when I listen to it. I love it
I see your problem is
Your proctologist
Got both hands on your shoulder
While you're bottomless
If Deftones didn't suck
I'm not sorry
It feels like a Deftones LP to me. Except with vocals I actually enjoy. Well crafted songs, with the first song being the standout track. It's fairly homogeneous there on but still really solid and enjoyable. Sometimes the production did get in the way just a bit. But I'm excited to hear an LP from wisp

Rah I love this guy man
My Korean goat cooked once again. Such a beautiful album front to back (not sketchbook) and the additional track on the vinyl is also amazing. This was my first colored vinyl, I got the pretty green one. The first couple tracks are just amazing perfect songs. And I more am talking about the first 5, where wow they are all good. Each have their own ideas where they execute especially well. The sketchbook comes in.... Idk what he was trying to do with this song, but it ... read more
Let's be honest here we are all listening to this for the same reason.
How did he cook so hard with white ceiling. In general the song is perfect. Every rendition has me playing it on repeat. Shit I even bought the TSTNPOTD vinyl just because I love the first LP that much (much thanks to white ceiling). The demo is no exception. Like 11/10 song.
The rest of the album ranges from meh to pretty good. Tracks like escape and ending credit are pretty enjoyable. But I find the studio version of ... read more
Idk it's just not that interesting?
I feel the same way with this album as I do with the Beatles. Overrated, however St. Jude is a perfect song. There's no St. Jude on this LP. But Allison fits the place for me. The rest of the album is just kinda there. I try to like this album, as I listen to a lot of shoegaze atp and who doesn't like this album? Idk me I guess? And unlike other albums I really can't hear what's so interesting about it. It's nice to put on in the background while I'm playing ... read more
Holy groove-tastic batman
(What???)
Okay so this was fun. Really an enjoyable listen throughout the whole thing. I found myself bobbing my head more than usual, or full on dancing in my room on repeat listens. First track really draws you in to set the atmosphere and then BOOM whiplash as your hit with this funky soul beat on the second track. The heart of the album is the most enjoyable for me. I find myself revisiting just the middle tracks a lot. Last 2 tracks are still very good, but ... read more
Maybe I'm just not a neo psych fan
I've listened to a couple neo psychedelica records as of late and none of them have really tickled my fancy. I can hear the quality of the music but I just don't enjoy it how I wish I could. That said this album is extremely solid. Beautiful melodies and amazing vocals on here throughout. First song was especially good and really had me looking forward to it. While I did get a little bored towards the end I was still genuinely impressed by the quality of the ... read more
I feel like I give. A lot of high ratings....
Here's another :>
Okay so, if you take a Disney movie and weave in a little bit of beach rock, symphonic prog, and a dash of chamber pop you get this record. It genuinely feels like a movie. Even if it does feel like a Disney movie from the same era. The orchestration is spectacular. The album also closes off with one of the most emotional and beautiful symph prog songs I've ever heard? (Maybe even all prog rock). It's just so ... read more
Man wtf why does nobody know about this record
It's truly a shame on how much amazing music will fly under our radar everyday. I'm so glad I was randomly scrolling through the 1971 charts and found this. After listening to it I basically immediately went on discogs and bought the vinyl. This record is so well crafted for being so underground. I love it.

While I was listening to this I decided to play a black midi song in-between two tracks to see if I was just tweaking
I wasn't
This is just black midi from wish, while the album has potential. The mix is incredibly boring. The song from black midi sounds so lush and pretty, while this album sounds dry and flat. I feel like I'm back at the black midi concert I attended with the foam ear protectors in.
The songs are interesting dont get me wrong, with some interesting cuts in the first few ... read more
