help a psychotic clown is chasing me but da baby's too busy rapping to save me vibes
i would first like to thank @sominterre for following me because i’ve been trying to get 60 for like a month and it’s been bothering me so, thank you.
secondly, i had to make a very difficult decision. i could either listen to this song first or find out who made the madden cover. i decided to listen to this song first since it had a lesser chance of disappointing me. cold made the right decision because madden has once again put whiney baby patrick mahomes and old grandpa tom ... read more
incase you were wondering cause i know you were, there were 5 different car brands mentioned on this project.
yes, i counted
hall of fame was probably one of the most hyped albums so far this year. with 'rapstar' peaking at number 1 on the charts, polo was definitely drawing in interest for this album. after the tracklist was released, no one could deny how great it was feature-wise but the first thing that really caught my eye was how long it was. i feel like less is more when it comes to ... read more
she went from real hot girl shit to real thot girl shit real fast and let me just say, all hail the queen tina motherfucking snow
this song sounded exactly like build a bitch from the very beginning and i could not get past that
i’ve never been the biggest fan of either of these people until recently but this album was surprised me. i was pretty surprised by how much i actually enjoyed it considering everything. both of them had very solid verses throughout the entire album and they both had great chemistry the entire time.
the features were great, no complaints really except as always, i’d love to see female rappers in these albums. both lil durk and baby have collaborated with megan thee stallion and ... read more
i liked this album way more than i thought i would. it was very fun and definitely, something that has to be listened to at 2 am with the volume turned all the way up. it’s a vibe that has to be achieved for optimum listening.
i loved the way the album started and ended, those were definitely my favorite songs both lyric-wise, and also the mixing on those tracks, in particular, was incredible. “thought it was a drought” was a great way to start this, i loved the energy on ... read more
i never actually reviewed the original version of the album so i’ll be reviewing this as a whole and not just the 2 new tracks.
it would be inappropriate to start any other way; juice, we love you, rest in peace.
it’s still hard to believe that this was his debut album because of how natural and refined he sounds. juice just has a way with his words that hits people in so many different ways. it’s not hard to see why he was so popular in the industry. there honestly isn't ... read more
reviewing something that has no other reviews is the equivalent of standing alone in a very sketchy dark alley that may or may not include a drug dealer.
I originally discovered zoe wees from her debut single, which is also the first track on the ep. the lyrics of this song along with her incredibly powerful voice just hit a pretty deep part of me. she sings about losing control of her life and her struggle with anxiety. i felt like each of these tracks represented a different mental illness ... read more
i’d really like it make it past 16 so no one murder me for this.
the person that i was listening to this with and i had very different opinions on this album, like polar opposites. i’m not the type of person that likes breakup albums so that was already an issue going into this. i also definitely didn’t like drivers license as much as the rest of the world so that was also a slight concern.
unlike most people, i actually had heard of olivia before drivers license from ... read more
looks like i’m doing this on my own lol.
anyway, the first album on this list is travis scott’s debut album, ‘rodeo’. the production on this album is so futuristic; it honestly sounds like something that could be released now and be a huge hit. some of it sounds very similar to ‘astroworld’ which once again proves that it’s a very futuristic album making it one of a kind for its time. the mixing on this is also completely different from anything ... read more
i might be just a little biased considering how much i love tate but this was an extremely good ep. coming in as her second career ep, it has a beautiful theme that fits perfectly with the lyrics that she writes. her vocals are literally something of another world, i could actually listen to them all day.
my one and only problem with this ep is that there were only 2 new songs. not that there’s anything wrong with the old ones but i would have like at least 3 new ones for this project. ... read more
24kgoldn has the potential to be a really great rapper because he honestly has some of the best energy. when he brings that energy into his music, he adds such a unique sound and it’s something that i think he should do a lot more.
songs like mood, coco, 3,2,1 and love or lust fit that high energy stuff. some of his lyrics are honestly just very bad. they’re extremely childish and quite honestly remind me of dixie d’amelio’s “i was really really sad” type ... read more
polo and tjay will forever be amazing collab partners, fivio ruined it
track after track she continues to come at the music world with her amazing lyric writing skills and vocals yet she still doesn't get the attention she deserves.
it's genetic pop but it's really not that bad. he's got some pretty solid vocals and the production to back them up. i mean 'jealous' was better but i'll take it.
