I do kinda agree that the vocals could be just a hair louder, but I do think the softer vocals do work for this song for sure, it really adds to the quiet intensity of the track and I like it a lot. Hyped for the album, it's coming out on my birthday so that's cool
100th review, this one feels pretty fitting
There's not a single artist that I can think of that had a better 4 album run than Pink Floyd did from Dark Side - The Wall, and Wish You Were Here stands out to be the best out of all four of those albums to me. It's an absolute masterpiece that's amazingly well crafted and is potentially one of the most timeless albums. Calling it ahead of it's time feels like an understatement. Wish You Were Here is one I've grown up with ... read more
You know maybe this would be actually good if John Cooper had talent (I can make fun of him and not feel bad because he's just not really that great of a guy)
Honestly, I'll give the album this: even if it isn't good, it at least felt like these guys still had PASSION, and this was the last album of theirs to really feel like that. The instrumentation of this album overall is actually pretty good for the most part. Some of it kinda sucks, and a few songs off here are pretty ... read more
Yo forget what I said about Dark Side of the Moon, if I ever get high This is what I'm listening to
A dark, depraved, depressing album, House of Balloons came out of nowhwre and established The Weeknd as one of the biggest trailblazers for RnB of our generation, and changed the shape of the genre. For damn good reason, because if you couldn't tell, I LOVE this mixtape. I've given artist's first full length projects a 100 before (ie. Is This It) but I'm actually amazed ... read more
Congratulations man, this isn't even your second worst album.
The "creative genius," Brandon Urie, decided "You know this original band of 4 may be down to 1 but yeah it's okay I can make another album" and then made this. I mean like what else do you want me to say, this band should've died when the band first dropped to 1 member. At least Hey Look Ma was good, I guess, and there's some bareable tracks. But like... god, this is just not a good ... read more
Woah dude did you hear the new Fall Out Boy record? I love I Had a Dream Last Night, and Unfortunately, You Were Still There
Oh yeah for sure man, I also love Now I Don't Need Glasses Anymore Because of the Roses You Gave Me
Like why are they such long titles bro
For the longest time, I pushed this album, and sort of FOB as a whole to the side because it was "embarrassing emo music" or something along those lines. But as of late I've finally let go of the shame I had for ... read more

I definitely overrated this a LOT back then, but I still think there's some solid songs here. Overall though this album just feels barren and empty for a lot of it and just overall uninteresting. Vocal ... read more

CHROMAKOPIA takes everything Tyler's done and makes it into a phenomenally produced album, with only about one dud. It's ok he did this on IGOR too, I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE is like the only reason that album isn't a 100 for me.
It's really cool to see what Tyler was able to experiment with here and make, everything he does here is very unique and every song feels very different, I really like how he has a vast ... read more
To sum this up, there's 2 tracks I like, Wilson is actually a genuinely really nice song, tracks 5-9 are all just a complete trainwreck and are exactly why this album is considered so bad, and the closer is just really boring here. Wilson is like the one song to actually save this album by being a genuinely really good track that I actually like, and I guess some tracks aren't all bad. But like I said, Church through Young and Menace are, how do I put this? Embarrassing. Heaven's ... read more
I've actually come around to this album and realized that maybe Panic does have more than one good album. This is definitely their only other good album though, I guarantee it. Thanks Ryan Ross, you aight emo boy.
This has a nice vibe to it overall, I generally did enjoy it, even if a good few of these songs did feel very nothing to me and weren't that interesting. I overall liked this cool sound though. The negatives of this album also were a lot less negative for me than my initial ... read more
I like to think this was an experiment to release something that the artist didn't listen to after it was finished.
This album is just something else, really. There's some tracks on here that I really don't know how they looked at and thought "yeah this is good." Big Idea might just be my least favorite song ever. I don't know, but it's definitely competing with that spot with another song from each of ajr's first three studio albums, and something from ... read more
The Downward Spiral is an absolutely phenomenal album that tells a great story about the titular "downward spiral" on top of just being a great sounding industrial rock album.
HOWEVER...
I love this album, and I always have ever since my first listen. I do definitely have a few slight complaints with the album. Firstly, replayability is just sorta not there with this album. I'll be willing to listen to say, Mr. Self Destruct, Hurt, March of the Pigs, Reptile, or Heresy. And, ... read more
These poor guys had the worst luck with the American release of this album
Is This It really is "it," being full of nothing but constant banger after banger. Every track on here gives such a nice and bright vibe to it, and is just such a fun listen, through and through.
Is This It is such a chill track that is really emblematic of just about everything about this band. Not a whole lot of artists that I'd say have a better introduction into the music world than this track right ... read more
Björk was someone who I've heard of before, and she got recommended to me by one of my friends as well, and I gotta say when I first saw her most streamed songs on spotify I was ASTONISHED to find nof a single one of her tracks at over 100m streams. That's nothing too important about this album but its just something I wanted to mention.
Post is Björk's most popular record to date, and I was surprised to find how this album sounded. I expected it to be a fairly unique ... read more
This album cover is probably the funniest cover I've ever seen
The Bends is a pretty damn solid album, that shows Thom Yorke and co are not just creeps or weirdos who don't know what the hell they're doing here. Unfortunately, only about half of this album I actually care about. Songs like High and Dry, Just, or My Iron Lung save this album, because some of it just isn't interesting. Or it's the title track, which just annoys me in a way I can't explain. But damn, like I said those songs that ... read more
Wait shit guys I think I actually like Fall Out Boy
Infinity On High is genuinely just a really fun album. It's not like a perfect album but an 84 is pretty damn good for this band. And if we're getting rid of the one track not in the green this album would he even better. This album is just such a nice listen, and they do a very good job at making every track here sound different than the others (it doesn't do that for EVERY track, but it's almost there), while also keeping some cohesion. ... read more

The second half is definitely better than the first, and I'm not a huge fan of the pitched down "You Can Do Better" part, but when this song hits it hits
If I ever decide to get high I'm listening to this album the second it happens
I'm a little late to the party, aren't I? It's hard to really say anything new about this album, honestly. Moreso than something like OK Computer, which even then was something I struggled to talk about. But at least that album had some minor flaws, but this is a 10/10 album we're dealing with, and it's much easier to talk about what makes something negative than positive. I'll try to give it some justice, however. ... read more
Darn, I found a song in the yellow from this band after 5 of their albums, what a shame...
Yeah I mean, this album just works really well for me. It's VERY flawed, don't get me wrong, each individual song is more bogged down by flaws than most albums I've reviewed, but it gets balanced out by having some really good moments. This album is just such a nice vibe for me. It's not perfect, and I can see why it has such a low rating, but honestly, maybe it is just the bias kicking in but i really ... read more
