Possibly the most solid Megadeth album front to back. This album plays it safe yes but has easily some of my favorite Megadeth songs on it.
Is the production overblown as hell…yes BUT this album is still the most interesting they made post AJFA. The riffs and songs themselves stick with me way more than most modern Metallica albums. The issue with this album really lies in the production because at times it gets annoying to listen to. Overall though I really like this album.
Man I love this album. Production is a tad overblown yeah…and I wish Bill Ward came back (his fault lol), But it’s OG Sabbath playing it safe but kind of a farewell in a way to me idk.
I grew up listening to this album ironically. Just funny to me because I haven’t listened to it in a while. But trying to get back into Judas Priest this album still sounds good to me. The production holds it back a little but other than that the actual music and instruments, melodies, etc to me are probably the most interesting post Painkiller. But that opinion could change, regardless this album is pretty solid.
I love this album. I don’t see anything wrong with it. This is the most accessible Black Sabbath ever is while still keeping the initial raw aggressive edge that made them appealing.
