13 tracks of straight heat. I love the radio station concept and having multiple singers and moods really tie this whole album together. However, some songs like "do it again" and "gonna leave you" sags the second half of the album down compared to the first half. It became literally background radio music. Standouts include everything up to go with the flow (yes, even six shooter), god's in the radio and Mosquito song. Still amazing though, maybe it is just my ... read more
Riff are sexy, drums good. But it gets boring in the middle. I can't remember a line or vocal melody in this. Although Josh Homme sounds good, the lyrics and vocal melody is by far the weakest part of this album. the sound effects on that last track almost made me deaf.
I used to shit on jazz, but after a love supreme and giant steps. I took a step back and started to pee on it instead.
I rarely give 100 scores, it usually needs to have a special connection I have with the album or it's just that good. A love supreme is both. It is not only a damn good album, it opened my eyes of the world of jazz. I've started to listen to coltrane's other records, and even starting to listen to the other jazz giant Miles Davis.

After the first track which is great, the rest are eh. But they are not skippable.
European song is such a drag, and the entire white light white heat album does this shtick much much better. The rest of the album is solid, sunday morning altered my brain chemistry man
Somebody please shoot the keys to the studio.
Don't mind me, I'm just diversifying my rating spread.
When I started, I was laughing at how bad this album is. By the end, I was crying at how bad this album is.
Dictator is what plays in my head when I'm trying to fall asleep.
Even your coworkers will turn this shit off. North and South low-key good tho ngl.
Kanye Jumpscare + impeccable drumming + crazy vocals + Vitamin C = banger after banger.
Original review: Somedays exodus feels like background music. But for that 3/10 times it hits, it HITS.
TF kinda drugs am I smoking. Exodus is such a dang good reggae album that most of the reggae artists and songs I hear are just not on the level of vibes and grooves as the ones on exodus.
It's perfectly split in half, with one being darker sounding, songs about war and other evils. Culminating in exodus which is a tight jam.
The second half is like the polar opposite, songs about ... read more
From the first bar, I knew this wasn't gonna be some regular shmegular freestyle
No skips, extremely solid but there's no really 10/10 material. But it's still a unique piece of music. This being my first introduction to SOAD, I'm excited to check out their other works, seeing that they have similar ratings
