Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music For Airports
73

First dive into ambient, glad I started off with this
Favourites: 1/1, 2/1

The White Stripes - De Stijl
80

Surprisingly good, but it's more blues rock than Garage (I love both equally) the first half has bangers after bangers while the second half is alright, not boring but not good to be added in my playlist. Overall it's a pleasant album

Best songs:
You're pretty good looking for a girl
Hello operator
Little bird

King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
95

Timeless and a lil flawless classic, there's 11/10s that outweighs the 9.9/10s

87

Prince is a Fucking funky fella who fucks. Really impressed by this record.
Favourite track: When you were mine

Kanye West - Donda
68

The part 2s were so unnecessary it soured the entire album. Still has it's bangers

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
90

A very eye-opening record about growing up in Compton and the struggles that come along with it. The skits are short and concise, not ruining the flow of the album. The story told is subtly woven into the individual tracks that make it both good to listen to individually and within the context of the album. However, I feel that after SAMIDOT, it starts to drag and didn't nail the landing.

Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino
75

Can't believe this the same guys that did Room On Fire and Is This It? This is the greatest left turn in music history. Four stars out of five

Kanye West - Graduation
85

The first half of the album is untouchable

Jeff Rosenstock - WORRY.
78

Amazing album from start to finish. Extremely solid

Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill
73

Extremely solid, every song is great but it's not a masterpiece. It's like a vibey album

Fishmans - LONG SEASON
100

Humanity doesn't deserve the greatness that is Long Season without the long crystal and shitting sounds section. Other than that, it's incredibly tight asf. That bass is playing for my soul bruh.

Edit: Wtf was i on bruh. The shitting sounds are relaxing and does not drag on or under stays it's welcome unlike the live version (but that has more pluses that makes this small complaint negligible). It's a masterpiece.

Ween - The Mollusk
92

Original review: Better than Quebec, it really is SpongeBob the album. I'll always respect it for giving birth to SpongeBob. There's nothing really wrong with the album.

Update: I'm on a ween binge recently. And it's time to revisit the mollusk.

The stuff that the boys do on here may not be as ambitious or as big and massive as "Quebec", but it does provide an extremely solid tracklist with a bunch of funky yet catchy elements. Like 4 of my top 10 ween songs are ... read more

Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain
93

Purple rain is phenomenal, everyone loves purple rain.

David Bowie - Station to Station
82

if you listen to it individually, it doesn't hit as hard

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
65

I'm so sorry, I don't get it. I really wanted to like it but i didn't

Radiohead - In Rainbows
100

Nude, Jigsaw and weird fishes are 11/10.
Original score: 95

This is probably Radioheads most consistent album. Since I have never felt a touch of a woman, I made a playlist with only Radiohead songs in it because I've only been listening to Radiohead for a very long time. After the added all the songs I loved, I realised I've basically added the entire album of In rainbows.

Track by track review if you want to listen to me meat riding the absolute shit out of Radiohead for 10 pages:

Radiohead - Kid A
97

Idioteque is such a fucking bop. Motion picture soundtrack is the saddest Radiohead song. And everything in-between is phenomenal

Radiohead - The Bends
95

Fake plastic trees may be my favourite Radiohead song of all time. Everyone's talking about how the Beatles went from "I want to hold your hand" to "Strawberry fields forever" in like 4 years, but in radioheads case, it's like "wild honey pie" to "a day in the life" in 2 years.
My Iron lung, High and dry, Just, street spirit. Perfect.

Radiohead - OK Computer
98

Most bands will have a few perfect songs, maybe even one or none at all. Radiohead dishes them out like it's nothing

Masterpieces: Paranoid Android, Let down

my bloody valentine - loveless
86

Once it clicked for me, it has an unexplainable sense of euphoria

"@StevlandMfan I feel that the song structure is repetitive across his songs. Having different structures like Discovery (Daft Punk): One more time and aerodynamic makes for a more varied and interesting listening experience imo."

"Ik this is late but my opinion has changed. First listen me didn't really stick to the album as much i wanted to. It just did not feel like it holds up, there are heavier songs from other people, more and more punk muscians carried the torch and made the flame glow brighter. First listen me thought of it as a skeleton, essisental but incomplete. Now i think it holds up, and it's a banger"
