It's uh... pretty neat. Not amazing but it's promising and I quite like it
Favorites: Violence and Spiders, Dead men, Scream
Update: I bestow upon you the honor of Best Album to Write Screenplays to
Radioheads last and best album, don't hate me. OK computer sounded too busy for my tastes and kid A never really gripped me, but this here has got some fine tuning in comparison. Great way to cap a bands legacy if you ask me, even a band I'd argue is a bit overblown these days.
Strongest: Burn the Witch, Identikit, True Love Waits, Glass Eyes
Weakest: Ful Stop
This album rocks. I love dark fantasy and this is exactly that boiled down to a musical experience. Some of the songs do sound a bit samey, but that orchestra is worth it.
Favorites: The Golden Age, Run Boy Run, Conquest of Spaces, Iron
Wow, this album is incredibly samey and dull. The only song that stood out was feel again. Otherwise, this is just a lot of aggressive whatevers
Favorite: Feel again
Pretty solid, though I don't think I was in the right circumstances to appreciate this. Apparently where you were when you heard this album is more important than the album itself. Started rather slow, but really picked up steam after Money
Still, I'm intrigued by this band, and the album really grows on repeat listens.
Favorites: Any color you like, Money, Brain damage, Time
The complete accident that turned out fantastic on my part. This is a fantastic debut album only tainted by those whatever feature tracks. Completely pointless.
Favorites: Ok, ok?, Arrow, Pure Gold, RUNAWAY
Distastefuls: Ice Cold, Rest
ID retrospective: are the albums as good(or bad) as I remember?
Finally get the criticisms that half this album is filler, act 1 starts real strong but fizzles out, which leaves this album to start slow and then find its footing in Sirens and onward. That leaves 22 extra tracks, and it isn't hard to pick 3 standouts to pluck out of them, making a great 13 track album.
Even so, I really like the filler; sorry, not sorry. Genuinely underrated, the whole albums follows themes of death ... read more

High highs and low lows? That about sums this album up. A nice breath of fresh air after origins and evolve; I find it odd how much people tear into mercury especially since this was critically one of their most well received albums in years. Really shows the influence Brad Taste In Music has, a reviewer I've grown to respect over the years. Even So, I say he's wrong about Act 1, there's no way it's IDs worst, ... read more
The best album they released, and it's TOP's first studio produced album. No shade towards their other albums, it's impossible to replicate this back to back
Strongest: Fake You Out, Guns For Hands, Ode to Sleep, Trees, Migrane
Weakest: Screen
Definitely his best since Northern Anthems, found Vian Izak just in time to hear this album upon it's release. The LP drags at times and some songs are rather forgettable, but the good stuff is just too good to ignore.
Favorites: Lost in the Hurt, Song I Believe In, New Year 89, Nothing New
Distastefuls: Carry it down(Further), Peace is Not For This World
Technically this is the first album of theirs I was aware of upon release, and the second album i gave the complete treatment to besides Vessel.. With that in mind, Good Day was a pleasant surprise in comparison to what I expected of them. I grew to love Choker, and it's my favorite track on the album to this day; formidable on the other hand is really dull.
Strongest: Choker, Redecorate, Good Day, The Outside
Weakest: Formidable, Bounce Man
