As with the previous LP, this EP is a sequel to 23.2 with the fitting moniker of RINGEX XINTER (get it cause X is after W). Honestly a very beautiful album, Japanese Breakfast uses a pleasant blend of organic synthesizers and winding guitars to give the listener a sense of lifting that allows the sound to carry you directly off of your feet. All of these tracks are incredibly sweet and even the harsher and more noisy tracks such as Honey Water don't contradict the album at all. Of all of the ambient albums that RINGEX Plaster has released, this one has perfectly encapsulated the feeling of playing an indie RPG maker horror game that someone would find on the front page of Game Jolt. This will forever be my favorite Ska Punk album, every track is an instant earworm and I'm addicted to this sound. The lyrics and vocal performance are intensely emotional and captivate me to the highest degree. It has this amateurish quality to it that makes it so much more compelling and the messiness of the production and arrangement supports it so well.
