RINGEX PLASTER - 24.2: ah, here comes the rivalry. (something clear)
64

As with the previous LP, this EP is a sequel to 23.2 with the fitting moniker of RINGEX XINTER (get it cause X is after W). As with a better pairing album, it only makes sense that the EP paired along side is also a step-up in quality. Despite it lacking in length compared to the first, this ambient release is much more immersive in it's natural soundscape. Everything about it feels very familiar yet otherworldly, and I could actually feel myself getting colder when listening to it (or my ... read more

I love this album so much 🐟🐟🐟

The way the atmosphere surrounds you in aquatic wonder completely engulfs me in to another dimension. Every album has this almost nostalgic weight to it with it's incredibly glossy and empathetic tone making me completely deaf to the wrong around me. It's the kind of music that would play while flipping through an old memory book or in a cinematic kid's movie when the emotional weight hits its climax. A sound for sore ears that relaxed and ... read more

RINGEX PLASTER - 24.1: oh, i'm sorry. i'm afraid i just don't really like u anymore
52

A sequel "23.1: on may 25th, draw a pawprint on the back of your hand, to symbolize that you're a part of this amazing fandom. this will help any furs who are afraid to show who they are." I honestly think this album is much more interesting than it's predecessor, and has a ton of interesting sound design in it. The 5th track especially has a lot of cool stuff going on and different kinds of bubbling and buzzing, with an addition of funny samples.

The funniest part of this ... read more

Japanese Breakfast - For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women)
82

Honestly a very beautiful album, Japanese Breakfast uses a pleasant blend of organic synthesizers and winding guitars to give the listener a sense of lifting that allows the sound to carry you directly off of your feet. All of these tracks are incredibly sweet and even the harsher and more noisy tracks such as Honey Water don't contradict the album at all. Instead they give a nice contrast to a sound that would otherwise grow stale after 30 minutes. I really do love when albums fluctuate ... read more

Kanye West - BULLY V1
11

Ignoring the fact that this is a demo, and that it uses AI, and that this video was released despite it being completely unfinished, but then again it could be a promo for the finished album, and that the album that releases will probably still suck ass when seeing his recent track record with Vultures 1 and 2, and the fact that Kanye has been going crazy again on twitter for constant rants and out of pocket homophobic, offensive, and derogatory comments, and the fact that Kanye's historic ... read more

I fucking love that Evan Fong is the only Youtuber that has truly made outstanding music. I really do like other acts like Red Vox, but man this stuff is so much better to me I just want more of it.

RINGEX PLASTER - 23.2: japanese programs hiatus (nothing here)
53

Of all of the ambient albums that RINGEX Plaster has released, this one has perfectly encapsulated the feeling of playing an indie RPG maker horror game that someone would find on the front page of Game Jolt. Something about the watery almost flesh like texture of the third track "fascinate.u" gives an eerie feeling of drowning, and it kinda freaks me out how in-depth the sound design is. Besides that there is basically nothing about this album that stands out from the rest, just that ... read more

--Please read this, it has been a while before I could come back to this--

I decided to finally come back to this artist after nearly a year of absence to recover from the digital pianist hell hole. As it stands the toughest to digest is past us and I'm ready for another onslaught of noise, noise, and more noise.

In case you aren't aware, RINGEX PLASTER is a moniker for the artist Roxy Radclyffe, a prolific artist that has made nearly a thousand full length albums over dozens of ... read more

The Arrogant Sons of Bitches - Three Cheers for Disappointment
100

This will forever be my favorite Ska Punk album, every track is an instant earworm and I'm addicted to this sound. The lyrics and vocal performance are intensely emotional and captivate me to the highest degree. It has this amateurish quality to it that makes it so much more compelling and the messiness of the production and arrangement supports it so well.
