This was my first experience of Enterprise Earth back in 2022, but I didn't remember much from it so I decided to revisit it. Honestly, I find "The Chosen" boring and not rewarding to sit all the way through. I find a lot of the tracks on here too drawn out and could be cut 2 or more minutes. Tracks themselves don't really offer anything new that I haven't heard before from other artists. I think the band does a better job at pacing songs on their newest album "Death: An ... read more
Twenty One Pilots are back with the Trench style that made them so loved by music nerds. I love the production on the track, I thought Tyler's rapping was solid, the drumming throughout was stellar, and the callbacks were fun.
Great track. I enjoyed how the track had both heavy and melodic riffs throughout it which gave it more variety. Also Lochie's feature was pretty solid
A somewhat refreshing hardcore punk album with good production and performances to it.
My first experience with Cory Curly Swope, who goes under the alias ZOMBIESHARK!, was "BORN FROM A WISH" released in 2022. I found it to be a pretty unique cybergrind experience even though it was kinda... pure hell to sit through and I never want to experience it again. So I decided to see if he could improve upon that EP and possibly make a good album.
While I'd say ZOMBIESHARK! has no shortage of different ideas to bring to "Die Laughing.," this album still ... read more
This album is fine. Has some moments that keep it from being a strong album for me. Like on how some songs are a little longer than they should be. The clean choruses aren't really unique or really different from one another across the album. The similar song structures of each song can cause them to sound similar and there really isn't a "stand out" track. But again for me, this album fine and features nothing offensive or bad really.
I feel bad for not putting this in the green, but the song is just bland and likely won't change the life of any Linkin Park fan that didn't hear it
Machine Gun Kelly tries to give another genre a try with a pop ballad type track. His monotone vocals really hurt him on this track as it is mainly focused on his lazy singing
The song itself is passable but it sounds like any other pop metalcore song that wants to be played on the billboard top 100, which makes it feel pretty bland of a single
Probably the most simple single for the album so far but that doesn't mean it's bad. Kinda wish it was a little more unique to Sum 41 and had a slightly better chorus, but it still is a solid pop punk track
Is this what Drake sounds like to Drake stans?
This is the first project by Genesis Owusu that I've listened to and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this album. The genre blending of pop, rap, funk, and rock on here is weaved together in a way that I haven't quite heard before and it works really well. The production on the album is good. Genesis's vocal performance on here is really strong whether he be rapping or singing, even with falsetto. I highly recommend this album if ... read more
Pretty relaxing Lo-fi project. Good as background noise. Instrumentals are simple. Won't likely come back to this as I didn't really pick up that much from this, but not bad.

This album isn't bad and it features some solid riffs, but I feel that this album could've been executed better. Some songs felt like they were too short. With the track "My Friends Are My Power (Spoiler Alert!)" where the main riff got somewhat repetitive and the whole track needed more to it to feel like a complete song rather than feel like it was a short interlude. "Ginger Alignment" was pretty drawn out to me and I was kinda just waiting for something to happen on the ... read more
Very consistent punk rock album that has strong performances and ferocity throughout it to leave an impression on the listener
The girl on the album cover looks like she wet herself. This is a pop metalcore album that is extremely overproduced and made by a band that has made better material that didn't at least sound generic or like it was copying similar artists
This is my first Kaonashi project that I've listened to. I've heard mixed feelings about this band, which you can tell immediately why that is the case when you hear the vocals. People clown on the vocals for the band "Knocked Loose," and this vocalist sounds like Mickey Mouse when he's screaming.
I think sometimes the vocals can work better on other tracks than others. Take the track "Humiliation Ritual" that has really interesting lyrics from the perspective of someone ... read more
Loved the harmony in the second chorus. Features fun instrumentals, although not as instrumentally creative as on "Houdini." Dua Lipa still puts on a decent performance vocally
I had low expectations for this single and it's actually not bad. It's also pretty well made for a melodic metalcore track. Sounds like a track off of "You Are We." The riffs are very melodic so the clean vocals and piano are mix in a way that doesn't make it weird. The track had an interesting song structure that kept me from getting bored. However, it is a tiny bit overproduced and could've done even more with its song length. But this is a big step up from the last two singles
