God.. this album is just so beautifully depressing. The way this album has bored itself deep into my soul, I feel so recognised in these themes of depression, coldness and isolation. Almost every song in this record is amazing and yet still I'd say it's a lot better than just the sum of its parts. Please, if you see this review, listen to this album. Listen to this album while you're alone on a walk, or it's winter and you're home alone, and just let it sink in. If it ... read more
I am in love with these drums, I do find the quality to be a little inconsistent but in the end it's quite a bop!
Yeah just amazing, I do kinda wish it had a little bit more power but it's still amazing
Title fits way too good, one of the most wholesome albums I've ever heard and it's also just earcandy for a lot of the time. This album really brings the life into you
I'm a fan of the ambient production and the overall themes of failed relationships, though I can't really consider this album much more than a solid record
I adore the idea and overall vibe of this album, and some songs do really stick with me, but overall it doesn't quite reach those highs for me
Holy shit. The sound on this record is AMAZING, and the fact it's ahead of it's time really solidifies this as a masterpiece.
This really just feels like an embodiment of counterculture
I usually don't really get into shoegaze, but Into the Endless Night alone makes this album worth a listen
WINDOWLICKERRRRRRR
Window. Licker.
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiindowliiiiiiiiiiiicker
wait...,,
there's other songs on this,,,?
this is an EP;;;?
I was a little underwhelmed, it was an enjoyable experience but considering how well like this record is I was really expecting a bit more
Just a really sweet time with some depressing undertones, not much more to say ^^
The first two tracks really captured my attention with their mix of psychedelic rock and (EXTREMELY ahead of its time) noise parts, but for a lot of the rest of the album the songs became just too repetitive for me to really get into it. I still adore a lot of the noise on it but they should've either kept their songs shorter or put a lot more actual variation in it like with the first and second.
I often think about how special it must've been to witness something like this live.
Even if I prefer listening to quite a few other things as an album, but witnessing something like this live must've been one of the most magical experiences ever feasible.
My favorite part about this record is how it starts out as just silly Japanese people introducing every member in a little song, only for it to devolve in some of the most magical sounds ever preformed.
