This is definitely the best Machine Girl has ever sounded. Both in audio quality and song quality. I absolutely love the glitchiness and chaos. The attention to detail is crazy, and there is so much ear candy sprinkled throughout the whole album. One thing that really set this album apart from other projects was the vocals. I really appreciated the variation, and the vocal direction always felt fitting and interesting. The songs this time around have a lot more grit to them. The overall sound ... read more

An emotional ride with a great atmosphere, interesting samples, and blissful basslines. As my first impression of King Krule's work, this impressed me very quickly. With every listen, it only kept growing. The writing is fantastic throughout the whole album, and the poetic lyrics end up being very fitting and engaging. The overall sound of this album is very dream-like and everything just compliments each other really well. And those basslines... God they're addicting.

I don't know about this one. Maybe it'll grow on me, who knows. The production just sounds kinda watered down to me, and overall the album doesn't feel as massive as other projects like Currents and Lonerism. There are definitely some excellent tracks on here, but there are equally as many mediocre tracks. ... read more

I haven't listened to a whole lot of house music, but this was really nice. I absolutely love the crunchy production as well as the smoother, cleaner moments. It's definitely not perfect. The tracks feel a little longer than they need to be, and because of its relatively repetitive nature, it becomes background noise. Some songs are much more interesting than others, but it's still a very nice album with a fun tone to it.

This is an intense listen. So intense that I've never gotten through it without my heartbeat tripling in speed. Every aspect of this album is so effective in creating a dreadful, and terrifying experience. The lyrics don't hold anything back, resulting in very uncomfortably direct and impactful moments. These are only enhanced by the tortured vocals and extremely noisy production. One minute all you'll hear is soft, delicate whispers, and the next will be filled with desperate screams and ... read more
