this being labeled as conscious rap is some kind of anti-black. I'm not exactly able to explain why but not a single person can explain how this album is any form of conscious rap apart from it just being unapologetically black and feminine. Ig just expressing your identity in any sort of coherent way as a dark skin queer woman is now something to be revered as conscious. My biggest criticism of this project is that it's not long enough. Could've had around 4 more songs at least
i like the sounds a lot. its pretty impressive how expressive a record can be without vocals
we got self proclaimed ambient experts in the chat making think pieces arguments about the nature of sounds going in your ears I'm crine 😭😭😭 there is no way dragged out instruments engaged you enough to give this a 10 or an 88 I'm sorry
