one of the most wise albums i've heard within recent memory. a to pimp a butterfly-esque concept album that really makes you nod your head, laugh, and above all else, think. thank you ktown.
First half is a little bloated but I think the album really picks up after "Show Out". The second half has much better cuts with Elsie's Baby Boy, Lovin' Me, 4 Da Kidz, and The Pale Moonlight. The three tracks with features are definitely some of the highlights- excellent verses from Skepta, Phoebe Bridgers, and Trippie Redd.
Such a tragedy that the world will never see the things that these two could've done. This album is so good but also shows so much promise. "What Once Was" is truly one of the best songs I have ever heard. Rest in peace, Stephen and Audun.
wow he blew it. was really looking forward to this but this is one of the biggest letdowns of the year.
The post-1990s tracks definitely feel much less finished, which is an interesting yet slightly expected thing to note seeing as the band broke up in 2001. One of them even abruptly ends after only a minute with Owain saying he's lost his voice lol. BUT, I love Panchiko and if you liked anything off of their mysterious and acclaimed "D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L>" release, CHECK THIS OUT! SERIOUSLY! I CANT BELIEVE IT ONLY HAS 2 RATINGS! Certainly a lot of cool ... read more
Sorry for deleting my review again and reposting, but I wrote my first full length review!!! :))))
I don't write reviews on this site. Not REAL reviews anyways, because I feel like I don't actually know enough about music to carry a full length review into fruition, and I'm terrified of people calling me out on it because I love this website more than life itself. But for Cruiser by Cotillon, I will make the lone exception.
This album currently has only one rating and it is my own. This album ... read more

Yeah idk this sucks but like... it also kinda bangs
Edit: February 2020 and I’m still listening to this repeatedly. I think this is without question a top 3 trap album ever made.
Edit 2: December 2020. Still not tired of it. Best trap album of all time.
This is magnificent. Magnificent. Some really cool jazzy and mysteriously experimental sLUms beats on this thing. Love the speech in the interlude "II" about money attachments and how it is really the ultimate extrinsic motivator, love the segmented "Eye/I and I/ Nation", and absolutely love the lyrics of "Self Love", which in my opinion is the best continuous flow and rhyme scheme of any song this year.

Wild sample (as usual) at the beginning that gives this track a unique ethereal feel to it, but I wished Peggy rapped more. This is kickass production but the lack of consistent lyrical content makes it feel more like an interlude than an actual track in my opinion.
Can’t wait to be disappointed tho.
