catchy ass album

Yeah, this definitely ISNT the best BROCKHAMPTON record. Some insanely high moments such as THE LIGHT (I & II), but some of these songs feel like straight cash grabs. Count On Me and Bankroll are super mid, and I have almost no fun sitting through them because they feel like the most obvious attempt at a hit song. Painfully unremarkable.

I'm never listening to a one hit wonder indie album ever again holy shit this was agonizing. Gonna have to stray away from averaging out numbers here and say this only got worse throughout the album. Every song is the same. I count 2 songs over 80. But one of them probably only has the high score because I didn’t know the entire album sounded the exact same, and if I were to relisten, I would hate it even more. fuck a 55/100. Waste of my damn time.

Pretty dope record, one of those records where you would go in only knowing one or two songs and not being completely disappointed by the result

Very dreamy and consistent collection of tracks. It’s worth your time.

Kinda tampers off in the second half, but some great music here nonetheless. Self titled is probably better.

Why do I like some of it

Pretty dope debut, most tracks were around the 80-85 rating mark, but the few 100s this album had bump it up by a little. Also “Miserable Lie” is so goofy bro easily the worst track.

If theater core was good, it would be this album (this album is amazing)

For real though, super cool project, even if it could do with a few less tracks, I like most of everything here, and it feels like it’s gonna grow on me with time.

To be honest, I couldn't get a full focused listen out of this album for a very long time. Every time i listened to the album I got really tired or even fell asleep, so for a while before even rating it, it became an album I would play to help me fall asleep. Now, this could be interpreted as jokes, something like "this music is good, good at putting me to sleep! aha! Pretty dope record, gonna have to come back to this, feels like a grower. Vocals had to grow on me throughout the record and there are a few bland spots but it’s solid.
